  1. I will talk to my doctor. My appointment is on Tuesday, but part of me hesitates to ask him. I do not want him to think that I am not ready for the surgery because I want to do a strict diet so I can lose weight faster. He and the nutritionist have made it clear that lap band is a slower process. I don't know. Is it safe to eat NO carbs with the lap band?
  2. After the surgery and once I can start to eat solid foods, can I go on a no carb diet or do I HAVE to stick to the exact diet the doctor gives me?
