  1. I started food on Fri 12-14-07. I can have some meats, vegies that are cooked and some fruits. Yes, the hernia repair may have cause you more pain. I had most of my pain around the port site. It still swells and is painful.
  2. Hi all! Just got my lap band Dec 6 2007. Was on liquid diet for first week now on fairly reg diet, ie meats, proteins, vegies and fruits. I am finding this adjustment odd. I know I must be over eating related to feeling food where I dont think it should be (my esophagus) Its an odd feeling of discomfort that wont go away for hours. Don't know if we all go thru this or what. Figure I'm in an adjustment period? Anyway, despite this and having had much pain I wasn't expecting after surgery, I'm doing ok.
