mefosburg got a reaction from AllofMe in SEPTEMBER 2014 POST-OP SLEEVERS CHECKING IN!
I've been the same way. I lost ten the first week after and have stalled. I was sleeved on the 22nd. 250 at surgery and 240 currently. I feel like we paid so much money for me to lose 10 pounds. I am discouraged by seeing everyone losing 40 pounds when I've lost 10.

Hey all! I was sleeved 9/22. My highest weight was 292. I'm at 182. That's 110 lbs! Best decision I ever made ( besides marrying my husband)!

Made it to my Christmas goal two weeks early! I've lost a total of 71 pounds since I've started my journey. 31 since surgery!

I sure have! I tried a half piece of toast and I think it got stuck because I got pain in my stomach, chest and lower back for like 2 hours. Another time when I tried flatbread (because that might work...) I got the same pain. I stopped eating bread, I don't need to be told twice. Well actually I do.
I'm so glad you asked because I haven't heard anyone say anything about back pain before.

Has anyone experienced kidney area back pain after eating?

1st shopping trip yesterday. My daughters and coworkers had been telling me it was time to buy new pants. I am so excited to have bought jeans and shirts 2 sizes smaller than I had on. ????????????

Just a suggestion for everyone. I found a homemade scar removal cream!
    4 tsp lemon juice
    4 tsp honey
    1 egg white
    Preparation:
To prepare this cream all you need to do is add all ingredients to a bowl, mix well, and your homemade scar removal cream is ready for use!
    Use:
Apply the cream directly onto your scar and leave it for 15 minutes, then wash it off. Repeat the treatment once a week.
If you use it regularly, your scars will completely heal within several weeks.

I'm in the middle of week three. My first week I lost 15 lbs. I've gained 10 in the last two weeks. I'm doing everything I am suppose to. I'm moving all the time as well as working out 40 minutes a day. What am I doing wrong? I'm getting frustrated!

I have gotten the you don't need to do that. There are better ways. Well, I've tried everything else! This is my last effort! This wasn't my go to for weight loss. This is my last hope.
    That's been my response.

Has anyone gotten the response that you took the easy way out yet? I'm not a violent person but I might just have to tongue lash the first person that says this. Vsg isn't for lightweights or lazy bones. This is no messing around serious work, all the time. (Sleeved 9/15. Almost down 20.)

I have the same problem at my house. It kills me when my husband goes out and comes back with candy bars. Then he eats them in front of me. He tries to hide it but this fat lady here can smell chocolate and Peanut Butter a mile away.
It's hard to change your lifestyle when everyone else around you isn't. I'm two weeks post sleeve and on puréed foods. Meals are far more satisfying. Stay in there! I know what you're going through.

Sleeved 9/22. Started puréed yesterday which really has just been retried Beans with some melted cheddar and salsa or sour cream. Just using the canned kind, and man I think they will last a week! The hard work starts now, with stopping the liquids before and after, and eating slowly. Not much gets eaten, really, and there are mind games going on. I can't say I feel "full" but I do feel uncomfortable, so I am learning to communicate with my stomach! Protein from shakes and getting Water in are still big parts of my day. I think I am down at least 15. That is the fun part.

I made taco Soup for my family the other night and put a bit in the blender. It might be the desperation talking but I almost liked the soup better puréed. It was like a glorified Tomato Soup. Put a bit of cheese and sour cream on it. SO YUMMY! ????

I had surgery on the 22nd. Procedure recovery has been the easy part. I hardly had any pain. I did had severe Constipation though. I am about two weeks out and I MISS CHEWING food. I am still on full liquids. I am struggling with missing food. I never realized what an addiction I had till now. Thinking of going back to the psychologist to figure out tactics to not miss food so much. I have lost 15 lbs in the last week and a half though and I'm feeling pretty good.
