Constipation can sometimes be an issue for me but only when I take ibuprofen. I was approved and instructed to take it while on my cycle because mine got worse with loosing the weight. So I take them very limited but when i do take them... Constipation strikes. But its usually fairly easy to take something and get it moving again.
And as far as the easy way out.... You tell whomever to go to hell who says that! Sorry to be blunt but seriously.... This is not easy! I work so hard daily at this. Harder than I ever have!! I don't tolerate anyone telling me that because I know the dedication and time I put into this. I contemplate everything I eat, get up at 4:45am to work out before work, count my Water all day long, gave up alcohol. Its not easy but still the best decision I ever made!

Just past my 1 year post op on Oct 15th! I, of course, wish I had lost more and have a hard time always seeing the loss, but I am feeling great! I am down 126lbs and hope to get off another 50-70lbs. Congrats to everyone on this journey! It is not easy or taking an easy way out. It has been difficult and emotional, but so worth it! Be proud!

I was well over 300lbs! 388 to be exact. Hard to say that number! I just had my 1 year surgiversary and am feeling great! I am down 126lbs and sure wish it was more but am grateful for how much better I feel. I just went to an amusement park with my family a couple weeks ago and had no concerns with fitting and riding all the rides I wanted! That was so exciting! I still have about 50-70ish till my goal, but weight loss has slowed a lot. This surgery is not an easy way out. It has been a daily battle and mental game, but so worth it. Good luck to everyone and remember to be proud of every pound lost.

I agree with woo woo 100%! Being so overweight, makeup is what made me feel beautiful! I by no means am an expert, but I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on it. I feel like there are good options at the drugstore for makeup because the truth is, we can't all afford some of these brands. I have a lot of eyeshadow pallets that are more expensive and financially it makes more sense because you get several for $50 usually. My current favorite is my Too Faced pallets! Great quality and the good thing is that the colors all go well together so you can't really go wrong with that!
Brushes is something you need to invest in! They make a huge difference with blending eyeshadow and buffing out foundation. It's so important.
And I totally learned how to do makeup from youtube. There are some great tutorials on there showing you step by step. I am not a huge fan of someone else doing my makeup because they tend to go in the direction that they want to go instead of what you like. This way you can youtube an exact look. I started out just watching foundation reviews to find out my favorite. Also, Ultra and Sephora do samples. So go in and ask them to match you with foundations or concealers and they will give you samples to try for a week. That way you aren't wasting your money.
I hope this is helpful! I don't comment much but I love me some makeup!!! Lol

Great job everyone! I passed my 1 year on Oct 15th. I do wish I has lost more my first year, but am proud of how far I have come. I am definitely still dealing with the mental side of all this. I see the difference in pictures and in clothing sizes, but feel like I look the same when I'm looking in the mirror. Its crazy! I also am still trying to figure out what gives me those boosts where I drop significantly in a week. I can't figure it out. There are weeks when I feel like I snack poorly and won't exercise as much and I'll drop 5 pounds. Other weeks, I'll gain a couple. I just keep trying to do what I can. Here is to our 2nd year journey!
