Hey ladies ... I am not at my happiest right now. My new insurance has been in effect for 3 days now. I wanted to have the balling rolling yesterday for a surgery date in lat January. But the GYN or Reproductive Endo needs to submit a clearance letter for surgery! Because the PCOS issue just came about ... I have only been diagnosed for a short time now. So my surgeon just wants to be on the safe side I'm sure... But the thing is my Endo acts like he is god and you have to go through all these people on the phone before they transfer you to him. I don't go in to see him until Jan 10! Called my GYN her son was had an emergency and she will be out for the rest of the week. So I called my Endo back and he composed my letter alright but he sent it to the GYN's office FUCKER!!! I asked him to fax it to the surgeons office! Ol' bitch!! Now I have to wait for the other LAZY GYN to come in and scratch his nutsack... jerk his dick off in the back office .... and dig in his ass before he comes to the phone to help me!!! All I want is my damn letter at the surgeons office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Than come to find out the Endo MAILED the letter.... It's 2008 you moron!!!!!!!! We have fax machines now!!!! So with the holiday rush I am just hoping and praying that my letter is there!!!! I just want the fiasco to end now!! Maybe I should just calm down and wait to start fresh on Monday! But the surgeons office told me that

Yeah girl I think you should atleast call the GYN!!! I also have PCOS and I didn't see my period for 4 months straight it came on light as well ... than got heavier REALLY heavy I went through a 20 box of tampons in 3 days!! When typically I can have one box of tampons for 2-3 periods but anyway it stayed for 2 1/2 weeks and went off! It scared me so bad cause this had never happened to me before so I called the GYN that morning scheduled a visit and she said this is normal depending on how many months you have missed it! So if you havent seen it in months than it's going to shed all of the build up and the specialist told me this as well. But I wish you luck sweetie and just try and lay down as much as possible to stop the heavy flow. Lemme know how things pan out!! HUGS AND KISSES!!!! APPLES!

Hey my loving "cysters" do you guys have any tips on these EXTEMELY HEAVY periods... I'm bleeding like a gutted cow! I hadn't seen my period since October! This is my 2nd "PCOS" period. And I say that because all of this major PCOS stuff just starting happening to me in like July. The first time I missed my period for 3 months it came and stayed for 2 1/2 weeks!!! Now I missed it for 2 months hoping it doesn't stay for more than 2 weeks because my DH will be home on the 28th! And quite frankly I am super horny LOL ... and on the other hand I am going to try and wait to get my neck and chin waxed. I was going to go 2day but I will turn right back into the bearded lady before next Friday. It's ridiculous how fast this hair grows. But lots of love to everybody!! Thanks for listening Apples!

The before and after pics always help and motivate me !!! Are you looking through all of the threads alot of people are doing great ... but I know it takes to get used to. I am waiting to be banded just like you and I read til my eyeballs had headaches the first few weeks... LOL just read read read and than read some more!!! I feel bad guys ... my hubby is coming home for X-mas ... don't get me wrong I am sooooo happy that he is coming home ... it's so many wives that can't see their soldiers for X-mas but I have gained 15-20 pounds since the last time I seen him!! I know that he is horny as hell!! LOL he is already talking about now what he wants to do to me. But I am too uncomfortable ... my hanging gut and ugghh it makes me sad to even think of it ... like how does he even get hard looking at me ... I feel so awful!! But I know we will have sex when he gets home but I just wish I felt sexier for him. Who am I as his wife to deny him of sex when he has been away that's crazy!! But I still feel crappy.

Girl I know exactly what you are going through ... And United healthcare is the easiest to get approved but you have to be 21 ... because my employer just had annual enrollment and I was looking for an insurance that specifically covered the lap bad ... and I went to United First and when they said 21 ... o h was like oh hell no!! I would easily be near 400 pounds by than!! I was recently diagnosed with PCOS ... and it's sooo hard to lose the weight NOTHING works this was my last resort to and I don't who thinks that I am too young!! They can blow me!! LOL ... because alot of them were skinny when they were young!! I have been dealing with this since I mattered ... and that's pretty much school age to me! And it sucks to be a fat overweight teenage girl! We do get to live like other girls like we should! And If this is what it's going to take for me to be healthy than bring it on! Cause I don't want kids right now but when I do want them I want to be healthy for my family... So that I can be all the mother that I can be!!! And I want to be healthy for my husband! It's alot down deep rather than just wanting to be skinny like "adults" think. Or people that have been thin majority of their lives. They don't understand!!!

Lauren me are you are the same age!! I didn't have an issue with the psychologist. He was very nice to me ... and I will be 20 on the 26th of December ... but I am married already as well and I come off as a very mature adult women people are always shocked at my age. But I have been fat my whole life and I dare anyone to try and tell me that I haven't attempted to lose weight I have been dieting since I was 8 years old ... maybe you should try another doctor.

This is what I thought too ladies but my GYN sent me to a specialist and the specialist sent me to have additional test ran ... but I guess everyone's doc is different. I know I have alot of the symptoms but the main and most bothersome is the dandruff in my scalp I wish it was something to do about this... washing of the hair only stops it for about a day I hate it !! Now I am waiting for all the "test" and blood work to come back to confirm that I have it but I know that I do. So than the specialist said that we will look in to options of what to do as far as meds I guess.
