  1. Tried to do some maintainance on my treadmill (lube the deck) and screwed it up. Messed about for half hour and gave up - fix it tomorrow maybe? Damn I really wanted to go for a jog but it is cold, dark and raining. :(. :(

  2. Depression, anxiety really bad... and weight gain. Blood work and WTF appointment this week. Hope they have some idea of what to do, because I sure don't. :(

      I'm sorry you're having a tough time. It's great to hear you have an appointment this week. That's the right step for sure. My thoughts will be with you that they will be able to work out a treatment plan that will get you on the road to feeling better.....hang in there!

      I feel for you, as I have been down that road myself. There are some good anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds that don't make you put on weight. I hope that you will get the right mix. You're welcome to PM me anytime. Good luck, and I hope you feel better soon!

      Just don't give up on finding the right "answer" for YOU. Sometimes that takes a wee bit of time, but you are sooooo worth it. Be kind to yourself. Trust yourself. You'll get through. I promise.

  3. 30 minute bodyweight/dumbell routine at 8am, biked 1 mile to pool, then swam for 1.5 hours and biked home. Oh yeah!

      I've been trying to remember if I can remember EVER wearing a size 12. Nope. The smallest size I can remember wearing in high school was an 18. You? Strong, Girl. Stand proud and strong. Exciting news!!

  6. My neighborhood pool opens next week! Must buy gallons of sunblock... AND remember to get out and reapply. Only lobster I like is the kind I can eat. ;)

      yup! I am going to find a pool close by - and get swimming more often. This fall I may need to join a gym with an indoor pool, but then I will need some of our lovely guys here to come teach me about the weights.

  7. The last 7 days, averaged over 10K/day. My all time high was over 25K!! Woot!

      that's wonderful and a GREAT accomplishment. I try to walk (instead of taking a cart) here at work. I get asked a lot why am I walking or being asked if I want a ride.

      I politely decline and HOOF IT! hitting over 20K per day :o

      It's making no sense to me...

      I'd currently consider it the most difficult part of the 'journey' (hate that term)...

      The mental battle is truly as bad as, if not worse than, the physical...
