6 months, lost 86lbs, I'm at my goal weight as by bmi is normal, now I need to maintain hopefully for the rest of my life. Getting scared of possible weight gain, I'm still going down, I'm eating about 1200 cal a day, 60/80 gr of Protein, light exercise. Gradually I'm eating more so I'm worry if I could gain weight terrify by that idea. I'm finally happy with myself.

UGH! I am so sorry you are having such trouble. Try to take tiny tiny sips all day long and stay hydrated. If you aren't getting enough fluids, just go to the ER and then someone will have to deal with it!

So far so good here. SW 256 weight now 189. Dr. says I'm right on target to be at my goal of 145 by my first year. No problems eating or drinking. I can say that I don't hit my Protein goals or take my Vitamins but I am very careful about what I eat and all my blood work is great.

What I would suggest is that you see if you can find a counselor or therapist. Especially someone who has experience with eating disorders. Anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, and compulsive eating (over or under), are all facets of the same disease.
See if your surgeon or NUT can refer you to someone.
In the meantime, you might want to consider checking out a 12-step recovery group like OA. Their website (OA.org) has meeting lists (both in-person and telephone) as well as podcasts and other materials.
You can also see if your surgeon's office has a support group, or knows of any in your area.
Dealing with food addiction issues is not easy but there are many resources available if you look for it.

@@foodfighter78, ok if you had blood work that recently and it included those levels and they were fine that may not be the issue. Since you work out so often are you replacing what calories you burn with the proper supplements? I understand how you feel about not being hungry but when you exercise your body needs extra Protein. That may be why you felt better not exercising. You may want to discuss with your Nutritionist even liquid replacement supplements post workout.

Pistachio and other nuts are a good calories, there is a huge difference between calories from plants and calories from a Twinkie, my nutritionist told to snack on them also I can't digest meats so pretty much nuts and Beans are my main source of Proteins. I lost 110 lbs in 7 months, eating nuts and beans.

In the beginning of the weight loss process, your body was converting extra fat into the energy that drove your body. Thus if you were a little shy on Protein, the effect might have been masked. But at bottom weight, you may not have very much fat to lose. So perhaps you might check the amount of Protein you consume each day and see if the total of protein from meals combined with protein from supplements (protein shakes/protein bars) meets your daily minimum requirement.

Did you change any of your Vitamins recently. There are a variety of B12 supplements available. If you are taking the wrong type, this could be the cause of your problem. For example the sublingual Vitamin B12 methylcobalamin is an approved type but time released B12 is not.

@AvaFern "But every day I can get on my scales I have quantifiable proof that I'm not worthless anymore " This bought tears to my eyes. It really did. It took me losing weight to feel I was valuable. I am so mad, angry at myself for not loving me and thinking I was valuable before. I was amazing then but I was to depressed and ashamed to see it. I regret not loving the old me like I should.

Anyone that isn't scared is kidding themselves.
I'm letting that fear help drive the action plan I'll have in place for when I reach goal.

I'm terrified of gaining weight back. I can't stop thinking about, lost 86lbs in 7 months. I'm at 21 bmi so normal weight. Now I think I'll get it all back. I feel like I can't relax and just enjoy my weight loss, I journal food every day in getting in about 1200/1400 cal a day 100 gr Protein. My next nutritionist appt in December 17th, I feel I need more guidance on how to maintain my weight.

I regretted surgery for about 4 months, I had a stricture that's cause me vomiting, pain, etc etc. I'm not 7 months and super happy! Just hung in there, give little more time. I know it's hard but that's all you can do now. Call your doctor if you worry something it's wrong. It's not an easy journey but it's worth it!

Strictures are really weird. I still have things get stuck although it's gotten so much better. It's unpredictable that's for sure. For about six months all I could eat was cheese, potato chips, and liquids!! Ugh.
The idea of gaining weight back keeps me up at night!!

Great post! I also had a structure and finally after 7 months I can eat a little more, bread, toast still makes me sick, very limited meat or fish, I don't understand if is the consistency or the type of meat. Breakfast is always a Premier Protein shake, after workout is Greek yogurt Oikos triple 0 I add chia seeds, lunch is some mix unsalted nuts and some cheese, dinner grilled veggie with salmon or turkey but not more then 3 oz. I love salad but make me feel weird. It's getting better, also I'm terrified by the idea of gaining weight back.

These photos are from the day I entered the hospital for surgery, dec 4th 2014, and today!! I'm 5'6. I started at about 250 pre-op and am now 121 lbs.
Pretty sure I've reached goal although I feel like I may go to 115 for some bounce range. Losing very slow now.
    It's quite a ride!!
