  1. Hey there. I’m a 2014 sleever. Decided to come back and check out our community.
  2. I love how you put this. It is 100% correct. I'm 4 years out and its not even a thing anymore. Everyone is not supposed to "understand" your life and decisions.
  3. Have you tried Prilosec? You amazing Roselynn!! Keep up the good work.
  4. You should try Prilosac or Nexium for acid. I didn't have this issue much at all but I know others who can't live without the above referenced meds. Nikki
  5. Hi Jen- Welcome to my city! Hope you are enjoying the weather, as I am sure its much different than Milwaukee. I hadn't check in our group for a long time, but i guess it has been on my mind since we are quickly approaching out anniversaries. I am holding at 175 and honestly, i like it. Good job on your progress!
  6. Congrats! 91lbs is amazing!! Keep up the good work and don't be hard on yourself over 9 lbs!!

  8. I think my water is the hard part for me. I start out strong and then I fizz out by the end of the day. I was sleeved on October 28th 2014.
  9. Hi Guys! So, I decided to come back and get some support/advice from you guys. I am getting a little down on myself because I have not hit the wonderful "Wonderland". I have gotten bored with the diet and have stopped working out as much. I know this is setting me back and I need to get over it. I just need a push or motivation or something. Is anyone else feeling like this?
  10. I am so glad that I came here and read this thread today. I was starting to get comfy with the weight that I lost, but you guys make me want to regain my focus. Thanks for the inspiration!
  11. I've have gotten a period every month since Surgery. I will say they were pretty normal until the one this month, I feel like a bleed every ounce of blood I have out. Dr says its normal. It will regulate overtime.
  12. For me, it was not cooking. I hate cooking at home, so I always grabbed something on the go.
  13. I use to mix Frosted Flakes with my Homemade vanilla Blue Bell ice cream. It was super yummy to me.
  14. So sorry you are having so many complications. Hopefully it all gets better for you soon. Hang in there.
  15. @mnmlst I was sleeved on October 28th, 2014 and I have lost a total of 17lbs since surgery. I have hit the dreaded 3 week stall. I have loast any weight since November 9th. I am trying to be happy but I keep feeling like I am going to fail. I wish I knew when this stupid stall was going to be over. Other than that, no complications. I am back at work and working out.
  16. Congrats!! I can't wait until I get to that point. I hope my husband is as generous as yours! LOL
  17. My son is almost 3 and around 35lbs. I was told not to lift anything heavier than 10 lbs. I leaned on my family for support. I stayed with my Mom the first week after surgery because my honey works at nights. So she was an angel. Then I went home the second week, and I sent him to school so I didn't have to worry about lifting him. My doctor released me to normal activity after 2 weeks with no restrictions.
  18. @@mnmlst You can have decaf. I miss coffee too but there is no value to it for us. We have to get our water over anything else. Good luck
  19. I guess we are blessed. I just feel like is something wrong. But I do gave food intake restriction.
  20. So, I had my sleeve surgery on October 28th and have not has any issues with vomiting, nausea, or gas. Is this weird or am I just lucky?
  21. Thanks for posting this. You are inspiring.
  22. Thanks guys for all the feedback. I guess I need to get moving.
  23. I'm a little confused as to when I can begin my work outs. I was sleeved on October 28th. Is it okay to begin cardio?
  24. I start my journey on 10/28...Super excited!
