Hi everyone. I called my insurance today and found out I was approved. I have United Healthcare, I did not have to do the 6 month supervised diet. I was so worried about that. They approved within 48 hours. The surgery is scheduled for Oct 7. I'm scared, nervous, worried and excited.

Thanks so much Jenn I've asked and the insurance a Said they cannot state requirements. I have called several different reps and they have all said the same thing. I have two weeks until I talk the Dr so I guess I just wait. Thanks again. I appreciate your input.

Hi everyone, I am going to see my surgeon in two weeks to send off approval. I am nervous because I do not know if my insurance will approve the surgery. Does anyone have United Healthcare choice plus through general Electric if so what are the requirements ? Did you have to the six month diet? Thanks.
