  1. There is also A WLS suport group at john randolph in Hopewell (30min south of richmond) twice a month on mondays. I can give more info to anyone who is interested.
  2. my 2 year anniversary will be in a couple weeks. I have 30lbs to loose, and i pretty much haven't lost any weight in the past 6 months. I am going in for a fill though because i haven't had a fill in 18months, so hopefully that will be what i need to get this last pesky 30lbs off.
  3. basically your stomach is trying to lubricate what is stuck and push it through, but it can't so the slime gets backed up, you barf but instead of being vomit, its a slime like stuff.
  4. i've lost 80lbs...i went form a 42G to a 38DD... I thought i would be happy at DD, but they are still so freaking big. I'm hoping that when i lose my 30lbs and hit goal i will finally be a C.
  5. i have no problem eating popcorn, it goes down pretty easy for me.
  6. I have found the more weight i lose, the more active i feel like being. I don't "exercise" I participate in "physical activities that i enjoy" such as horseback riding, walking nature trails, etc The band helped get weight off quickly so that i felt like being more active, the less my knees and back hurt, the more active i became, the more weight i lost, and it sort of just snowballs...the lapband gives you that kick start.
  7. :) Ok so i didn't make my goal of being 160 by today, I was however only 8lbs short of that goal, so i know its coming soon! I've busted my butt exercising the past couple days and lost 2lbs (I guess i know what i need to do more of right) and now down to 168lbs! I've lost a total of 70lbs in a year. My doctor said to expect to lose 52lbs the first year so atleast i have gone past expectations!! I've gone from a size 22-24 to a size 14! 3x to a XL/L . So here are my pictures!! AFTER!!!!!!! :scared:
  8. once i hit about the 60% mark, my weightloss has slowed considerably. I have not given up though, i just take my half a pound a week loss and move forward the best i can.
  9. down another .5lbs (slowly creeping) -67.5lbs total.
  10. no change...i'm ready to shoot myself :angry
  11. not sure if this is a real NSV but, I signed up for horseback riding lessons, because after years and years I was no longer afraid the horse was going to try to buck me off because i was too fat. new before/during picture for a new month Before (i apologise in advance if the pictures are huge) During (171lbs)
  12. no loss this week. I'm getting sooo frustrated. I'm never going to lose 11 lbs in 17 days to make my mini goal. I've lost 60% of my weight and i know the lapband is supposed to do 60-80% so i'm wondering if this is it for me. I'm going to try to pump things up at the gym and drink more water etc, but i'm getting very discouraged.
  13. anyone want to let us newbies how the challenges work?
  14. down .5 pound (better then nothing i suppose)
  15. no change, still at 171.5 :straight
