Got my flu shot today. I had the Flu last year. It was 10 days of misery. I am willing to endure any side effect from the flu shot if it could possibly prevent me from going through what I dealt with last year.

Good old fashioned warmed milk and molasses enema.

I did my preop testing yesterday. They collected about 9 or 10 vials of blood. Performed an EKG, barium swallow test, pulmonary function test, X rays and abdominal ultrasound.

I'm scheduled for Nov 10th. Anxiety is setting in...

I'm excited but a little scared too. I don't handle pain very well.

Unless my body demands otherwise, I'm planning on taking 3 weeks off. I'll only work 3 days a week when I return anyways.
