I live in Holden north of Worcester. I got sleeved on the 31st of Dec.. almost 6 weeks out. I feel back to myself. It gets better with time.

  9. It's good to vent. I say to people about anything "It will all work out" @@JALUVIC I understand your anxieties. I am sure your son will help you. My 17 yr old was there to help. My 23 and 24 year old were very helpful even though they are not home. The hubby was the best.

  16. That is how things should be. Stop getting offended. Stop thinking your plan works better than mine. Stop being overly critical. We are all different beings and we are all trying to find what works for the best for us. I respect everyone and their opinions. I may not agree but that is okay. I am cool with it. No one is an expert here.Carry on and have a good day.
  17. The first two weeks is tough. It will get better. I slept so much in the beginning and I guess I needed it but now 3 weeks out I have more energy. I am surprised you are at pureeds already but I guess it different with everyone. Hang in there and with time it gets better. Lisa
  18. That is very sweet. My father has a prayer group of men who gather once a week and they all prayed for me during surgery. I even got a signed paper from all the men who prayed. ????
  19. I am so glad everyone well a lot people are the same page when it comes to eating the real stuff. The sugarfee stuff always made me feel like crap. However for the last 3 weeks post op I have accustomed to sugarfee jello and shakes which is fine but I am craving real stuff. I am going to see my Nut tomorrow and ask her this very question...
  20. As I am typing this I am wearing a shirt, zippered hood ie sweatshirt and a down vest jacket inside the house! I also have a down blanket on my lap and guess what? My feet are like ice. I can't seem to warm them... not sure what's up with that? So yea I am freezing all the time.
