Thanks everyone! You all are just the bestest. I'm still doing the blood thinner shots and didn't even think about that.

I'm 4 days out and can't get warm. The minute I stop moving I have to grab a blanket. Anyone else have this issue?

Day 1 was tiring but not bad. I seriously can't believe how great I feel. Was out and about today for a few errands. Then came home and rested.

My surgery was yesterday and it went great! Pain was minimal, and everyone at the hospital is awesome. Passed the leakage test today and get ice now. I've been up walking around without much assistance and feeling way better than I thought. Thanks to everyone on here for the support. Anyone getting ready for their procedures, take an extension cord and Chapstick. The best things ever.

It is really like ending an unhealthy relationship. It's hard for a while. You mourn the loss. But like a broken heart time heals and the sun comes out. You learn how to love your life again with the new changes. My song for this whole process is "No More Rain" by Angie Stone. Spring has come and winter's gone, my love But don't look around for me, child I'll be gone (I'll be gone, gone, gone, gone) Not afraid because the seasons have changed I'm gonna count my blessing then just follow the sun I love this post and all the responses. Any suggestions? What helped and what was not worth lugging there.
