    Washington State Usa

I just moved to Spokane from the Seattle area. I had my sleeve in 8/28/14. I've lost 78 lbs so far. I would love to go to a support group.
  2. I'm having the same issue with my waist. I could be wearing a 14 except my waist is too big. I've lost 37lbs since the start. My waist used to be smaller than hips and thighs. Very frustratingly in a stall too.
  3. Why is it so hard to get rid of clothes that are too big? I've been pulling out clothes that fit now and trying to get rid of the ones that are too big and it is hard.
  4. Sorry I can't be there. I can't do Sundays. Have fun.
  5. Thank you Galaxy girl. It's just do depressing.
  6. I was sleeved on the 28th and I'm feeling frustrated. I've been at a stall since one week post op. Here I am a little over 3 weeks post op and the scale hasn't moved in over two weeks. I know stalls are normal but this just feels so permanent. I eat right. I get my protein in. I do struggle with water but it's not too bad. I exercise. What am I going wrong?

    Seattle sleevers!?

For the most part, I'm doing good. I get tired very easy and I'm in the middle of a stall. I've lost 18 pounds total and I'm looking forward to even more. I'd love to be part of a support group of Seattle sleevers.

    Seattle sleevers!?

Does south King County count as Seattle? ????. I was sleeved at PSSC on the 28th of August.
  9. I was given pain pills after surgery. If they are too big can you cut them in half? Check with your doctor first.

    August Sleevers Check In

I have that same pain and I was sleeved on the 28th. That is the incision where they remove the excess stomach. My doctor told me he had to put an extra stitch in that area to close it and that a hematoma builds under neath that area and that it will hurt for some time and that it will be swollen for an extended period of time as well. My pain is starting to get better now that I'm 2 weeks out but it still hurts some.

    August Sleevers Check In

Welcome blesses14life, I know how you are feeling. I was also sleeved on the 28th. This site has been a wonderful experience for me if for no other reason that to let me know I'm not alone. It's interesting to me how different we all are yet how much the same. I hope you find the support here that you need. I know I have.

    August Sleevers Check In

Today is much better than yesterday. The pain over my large incision is considerably less. I am 4 days out and am still on liquids. I tried to do too much yesterday and I paid for it. One day at a time.... Good luck everyone!
  13. My recovery at the clinic went great. I stayed the night because I have many allergies. The staff was wonderful. I have had some rough days at home but I'm feeling a little better today. My main incision has been quite painful and it burns quite a bit. Don't be afraid to take your pain meds. Good luck to all sleevers and I'm looking forward to having more energy.
  14. Yes PSSC uses robotics as well as manual. I had Dr Kauffmn and I'm very pleased. He has great bedside manner.
