  1. Hi everyone I am 38 - well 39 next month and I live in Ipswich - Australia. This year is it for me!! No more putting it off!! I was banded in 2005 and lost 20 kilos and everything was going well until the 3rd fill which was too tight. I wasn't able to eat much and I think my metabolism slowed right down and I had some taken out which was ok at first but most of the weight came back on - but now the band is too loose. I was disapointed and upset and I stopped going to the gym and thought "what the hell" but I have realised that I did not do this to simply give up as soon as I hit a bump in the road so I am going back this week to have more in and to try again with a new attitude!! :help: :whoo: from this 2007 to this 2008
  2. The same happened to me - it just takes time and everyone is different. A few more fills and you will really notice the difference and you will only be able to eat a little. Mine is comming off slow but that's a good thing
  3. GET RID OF THEM!!! They will only get worse - especially if you are going to have any children - I had the same - Doctor would not remove - I fell pregnant - and at 7 months had a bad attack and because of the baby - the attack was the worse pain ever. 6 weeks after birth - I had them out - best thing as I never had to worry about it again!!
