  1. I'm looking for a flavorless protein powder that can be added to pretty much anything. I'm 4 weeks out of RNY and having some trouble getting in all of my protein. I've tried flavored powders and ready to drink shakes and they are all so sweet! I just can't stomach them. I'm looking to be able to add it to my morning juice I make in my nutribullet or just add to a meal if I need extra protein that day. So what's everyone's favorites, and where do you purchase it? Thanks! :-D

    Constipation Issues

I know we are not supposed to have it but coffee works for me every time! I am not a coffee drinker which is why it probably works so well for me. Just a few sips and I'm "ready".

Thanks! it really is going much better than I expected. Our stories are very familiar. I wish you all the success, and good new food habits!!!
  4. I have 4 weeks off. My RNY was 7/29 and I return to work on 9/2. If I had a desk job I probably would have gone back the second week. But I work in a manufacturing plant and I'm required to lift up to 50lbs regularly so rather than going back with a restriction my surgeon just kept me out until he could send me back restriction free. I can't wait to go back, even with my walks and fun family time, I'm starting to get cabin fever. I'm sure my tune will change after a full week back to work. Lol

    July RNY Page

Hi everyone!!! I had RNY on July 29th. I think of everyday as a learning experience. Learning what my new stomach will tolerate. Overall things are going really well. I had myself so worked up before surgery, I cried every morning for a week beforehand. This was my first ever surgery at 33. And honestly the pain was nothing compared to what I had imagined up in my head. As soon as I was allowed I was up and walking. The gas pain was worse than the incision pain. I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life. My highest weight was 389 and my surgery weight was 361 my current weight is 337. I can't believe I've lost over 50 lbs already! I'm so ready to share my new story with everyone. :-D
