  1. Geepers woman !!!! we want pictures  CONGRATULATIONS !!!!
  2. TOM, I'm not offended. I think this is an awesome thread and thanks for starting it. I for one did not tell my boss what type of surgery I was having because I knew he would look down on me for one, not being able to control my eating and two, for wasting company time on something I should be able to control. He is a military man, 23 years, very disciplined and expects other to be the same... almost flawless ya know (wish I knew his weaknesses, bet he farts during sex... LOL anyway). I, like you, also had this surgery to get healthy, I am past the point of wanting to look model thin, or anything like that. I just want to be able to run with my DD and be around for many many more anniversaries with my DH. Good luck TOM, oh and btw, congrats on your 95 lb loss WTG WHOOOT!!!
  3. Don't stop taking the pill, rubbers are not a reliable source of birth control. You might want to switch to a different brand of BC, maybe a lower dose, like ortho nov. 777. Maybe you could have sex in the morning instead of waiting until night time when your exhausted.

Darcy girl, hope they find something they can fix really easy with your testing. You got my prayers. Patty, I'm so sorry your going thru such a rough time. I too was worn down and not excited when they finally approved my surgery, its like they sucked the life and excitement right out of me. And I'm sorry to hear about your friend, gosh that is just awful. You all have my prayers. Hang on. Dianne, what date will you be in Mahwah b/c I can meet you for sure. 14. Good Morning Girls  Anne !!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF is right. I'm so sorry your port flipped :faint: its one of every bandsters nightmares. You know we all feel for you and love you and will pray for you. Patti Welcome !!! What ever you decide to do, good luck. I for one did not want gastric bypass and i have a friend who's had the bypass who really wished she had the option of lapband. Its really an individual thing but I can tell you this.... lap band or gastric bypass... you can still gain weight if you don't watch what you put in your mouth. Both surgeries are used as a tool...not the cure. It takes both physical and MENTAL strength to lose weight, no matter which one you choose. If I ever lose my band, I would still not choose to have the bypass... IMHO, for me, GBP to extreme (unless I had to and it was life threatening). But to each his own. Hang in there. Cindy love, I took DD to the doc, got prescription for blood work and x-ray. I'm gonna take her tomorrow for the xray and in two weeks the blood work just to rule out limes disease or arthritis (like I have since a child). I see your dropping more weight there girlie WTG WHHHOOOOOT~ I'm very proud of you. Well kids, I gotta get some work done today..yeah I know :tired TTYL

  21. Heather you know it...long over due for a fill. I was really trying to work with what I have but its not working. I'm scheduled for one on June 16th. Shack, even with sweets out of the house I will shovel anything in the ol pie hole. Not a pretty site LOL. Vicki, Poodles, Donna, Elisabeth THANK YOU !! Thanks for your help everyone.... I'm gonna really try to fight this and pray my fill helps.
  22. I work full time and my weekends are always cleaning cleaning cleaning which I HATE!!!! so during the week when I get up at 4:30 am I do a load of laundry, every day, yep every day this way at the end of the week I am not cussing everyone in the house out. When the sheets are done, I roll them in a ball and throw them in a drawer...... yeah I know but nobody was looking
  23. I need your HONEST input, help, comments, answers, 2 cents..... HELP :help: I'm thick skinned so lay it on me. I do pretty good all day long eating healthy and staying on plan. dinner I eat healthy but struggle with portions (I am getting better though). Here's the problem, after dinner, I have an incredible sweet tooth, I mean ravenous. I don't understand what comes over me but I'll put DD to bed, 8 - 8:30 pm, I'll go to bed too, fall asleep and then around 9 - 9:30 I wake up HUNGRY but only want to shovel chit, ohhh I mean sugar in my mouth.. anything sweet (really chocolate) WTF? Why is it that I wake up at that time and have such an awful craving for sweets, so bad that I go down stairs and gorge (1/2 a sleep). Why can't I crave it at noon, eat and burn it off... noooooooooo. Thats when I do my most calorie damage is at night. Don't have sweets in the house!!... well thats true, and most of the time I don't so what do I do??? I'll look for anything to fill that void and that can be even worse than having what I crave. I'll eat fruit, swig diet crystal light and then shovel everything else in as well. So my question is... does anyone have this problem at night, I mean wake you out of your sleep problem? I don't know how to deal with it anymore. I've tried everything, even eating Protein right before bed so I'm not hungry. Is this a head issue?? but what about the belly growling?? I'm worn out folks.
  24. Beans Beans the magical fruit.... the more you eat the more you toot !!
