I have always been big. I can't remember a time that I was ever under the 200lb mark. And if I was, I was in elementary school.
Recently, within the last 6 months or so, I have been diagnosed with severe sleep apnea, pre-hypertension, and borderline diabetic. I was at my heaviest before my pre-op diet at 365lbs. I had gotten to a point after being diagnosed, that I couldn't figure out how I had let it get so bad.
My family doctor finally suggested the lap band procedure and recommended me to Dr.Mobley. I have never felt more comfortable in my life in a doctor's office. They are amazing and are a good part of the reason that I'm pushing as hard as I am.
I am excited to see what this journey has for me and I'm hopeful. I don't want to lose that spark.
