Only tell those closest to you ( i.e. immediate "circle" family and in your case future husband, ok. But coworkers, friends etc, I would say no. They'll see the difference in your body, health etc. at a later date and it will be your choice at that time whether to tell them or not.

In my case, I only told my children, Mom and brother because they were going to be with me during recovery etc (and at the hospital). Don't fret, you will not regret your decision to get your health/weight under control with this "tool". Good luck to you.

I told no one but my 2 best friends and my family.! People can be very fast to judge, this is your life, your journey and you want it to be the very best journey it can be without any outside opinions from anyone!

hi futuremrsbee!!I have dr garber also for my surgeon!!luv him and im getting sleeved oct 6.im on my 14 day liquid diet which is rough!!friend me if you want a buddy!i told close friends and family.they all know the roller coaster ride ive been on for the last 20 yrs.im not worried about people knowing because these days when anyone has an extreme weight loss they all just "assume"you had surgery!ive lost a lot of weight in the past and people would ask me if I had surgery!!!
