My surgery date is September 29...two more weeks!!! Yea!! At the beginning of this year I had some goals in mind of what I wanted to do. One was to finish school and get my degree, I finish taking my final exam today in my last class. I am scheduled to graduate on October 25 but since that will be three weeks post-op I don't think that would be a good idea. I go to school online, I live in Wilmington, NC and the graduation will be held in Norfolk, Virginia. That would be too far to drive three weeks after surgery. The second thing I .was to lose some weight before the end of the year, I have lost seven so far before surgery hoping to lose much more after surgery. And the third thing was to visit my grandchildren more, we are expecting a third grandchild in November. My husband and I are hoping to visit her when she is born, that will be a 10 hour drive.
Glad everyone who has had surgery already are doing so well and good luck and blessings to those who have not had surgery yet.
