Abby, Stop and think about the real reason you are having this surgery. You really need to be serious. The band is a tool. It will not work on it's own. Yes, there are frustrations that go along with the band, but there are also triumphs. Good Luck!

Usually, anything you want to ask will be covered. The surgeon will advise on everything that is needed and what will need to be done. Good Luck on your lapband journey!

Tai68, My EKG came up abnormal and I had to go to a cardiologist. It's standard procedure. Once the cardiologist looked at my results, he asked what was I doing there. He told me that technicians tend to read the results a little backwards. Don't worry, wait until the results come in. Good Luck!!!

I stayed in a marriage for 26 yrs because of my boys and because I thought my ex would change. After the first time he cheated on me I should of left, but I didn't. Though you two are going through counseling, just remember, that he is is the one with the problem. You need to be positive. Stop worrying about what you won't be able to eat anymore and start caring about your overall health. This surgery is a life changing decision. The band is tool that you have work with. Get the fill and start from there. Good Luck!
