  1. Welcome to the container club. I have my own section in the fridge with leftovers and homemade sauces. I have two fudge pops that have been in the freezer for three weeks. That was impossible pre op. I received my sugar free pecan sandies today and I immediately placed those in the freezer too,SMH. My hubby says that I hoard food now.
  2. Awesome nsv shout out jenn1.
  3. Yep, I actually took in my workout pants.Still wearing my dresses which causes me to trip often. Even my skirts are too long. It's amazing how you seem to get shorter when you lose weight but it's just the lack of fat in some areas.
  4. I used to polish off a 20 piece of nuggets by the time I got home from work. Didn't even get a chance to enjoy it,taste it. Just swallowed. I loved Whoppers and 3 big burritos with all the toppings.
  5. Awesomeness Galaxy Girl and VSGAnn! I am officially 3months too but I do not see my surgeon until February. I will see my Pcp on the 7th so I can see my weight.
  6. You are still fresh out of surgery and still healing. It could be gas. I know I feel that way when I have gas. It feels like your gut is about to explode. Perhaps some walking will help you
  7. Great job ayscott! I am glad to hear the success stories of the August folks.
  8. Does anyone else get tired of eating sometimes? With me eating like every two hours, sometimes I get tired of eating. I am starting to cut down on my serving size because of it.I need that protein. That's why I make sure I have my shakes.
  9. Awesome results guys! Congrats on your success.
  10. I know right.Freebird is on fire! Great job!
  11. We all food issues here. It is definitely okay to be nervous. Even after the surgery certain foods are still hard for me. This is a great place for support and I am sure you would have gotten some good advise if the post was true. I hope all goes well with your surgery and that you will have tremendous success.
  12. What a good playlist Miss Mac.
  13. My hubby brought home a lamb leg. I trimmed the fat. I always put a bunch of slits throughout the leg and stuff it with fresh garlic. I also seasoned it with a Mediterranean season mix, salt and fresh oregano. I wrapped the whole leg with lots of foil and baked it on 350 for like 3 hours. I heart me some lamb. That was the only food that I was missing in my early post op stages.
  14. Diarrhea is common in the beginning. Once you start moving up in the stages, you will most likely be back on here talking about constipation. I had the case of rrhea once I started drinking more shakes.
  15. And I definitely remember the hair back in the days, lol.
  16. I changed my meal plan. After cooking a roasted leg of lamb for the family, I decided to have that instead of the Tandoori chicken. Here's the picture. I had roasted lamb and cabbage. Didn't finish the cabbage.
  17. What a terrible feeling, I know. Like others suggested, relax it will eventually pass.
  18. Thx for the link. I am a penny super penny pincher lol. I will have to get a small one for sure. I also saw on Pinterest DIYs on starting a little herb garden using egg shells. How neat is that?
  19. At 3 months out I am the same. I still do my protein shakes too. I have no idea as to how many grams of protein I am per day. I just make sure that I have at least 1shake a day and protein at every meal. I do lots of omelettes, lol.
  20. I am having skinless Tandoori chicken with some kind of veggie for lunch or dinner. I will post a pic later.
  21. Now that is a fest for sleevers. Again, those veggies look delish. Thx for making me drool again lol.
  22. Way to go Galaxy Girl! You are so close to your goal size. I look forward to hearing about your Monday appointment. Later Loser!
  23. I had this yesterday minus the mustard and it was so good. I also added it to my one egg omelette this morning, good!
