My Lunch: A Pictorial Attempt To Show You Life Will Be Normal
I am obsessed with recipes. I like flavorful foods and take my time to prepare my foods now. I made fried rice using bulgar instead of rice. To me,there was no difference. Loaded it with cabbage, eggs and green onions. I made enough to last a few meals. Next time I will post a pic.

100 lbs lost!
Congrats!

I baked
It is strange. My sweet tooth has returned at 3 months out. But when I went to the store and saw all those bakery goodies, I did not want one. I try to stick to my protein drinks for that sugar monster. I also found a sleeve friendly recipe for no bake peanut butter protein bars.

7 Months Post Op
Yes, Livvsmum I can see it in your profile. i am craving sweets too and ended up buying yogurt almonds. I try to make sure to make my Protein shake eveyday to help tame my cravings. I am not even 7 months out yet and I have to get my head back into the game. WE CAN DO THIS, WE WILL DO THIS! Proteins first and get rid of the crap! Later Losers!

dumping syndrome
The dumping is real. I am a sleever and had a few episodes. I could not even drink sugar free drinks without feeling queezy. My episode was the foamies(spitting) and sitting on the potty at the same time. So, I am not even willing to try Crystal Light or even Vitamin Water at all. I was able to have diet green tea but I diluted that as well. Anything high in sugar is a no no. I also baked chicken skin is a no no as well. the other day I sauteed some onions and I got sick. I love sauteed onions but I cannot have them by themselves or I think it was the mayo. Anyway, don't let the videos deter you. I know its hard.

7 Months Post Op
At 3 months out, I am noticing the same. I think I have to start eating chicken breast lol. But seriously, I am a little concerned as well. I just make sure that I eat every 2 hours and do the Proteins first. I hope it will change for both of us. Later Loser!

When You Realize You Really Are Changing...
Such a wonderful feeling, I know. It is a littel hard for me register that I can actually get into XL shirts. I am not totally comfortable wearing them yet, but I can actually put it on. It just cannot believe it. I am actually scared to try on smaller sizes. Its weird. but I love this journey. Happy losing! Later Losers!

NSV shout outs
I actually can wear a XL flair skirt . I can finally wear skirts and shirts and get rid of my MOO MOO dresses. When I hug my children, I can actually feel them and wrap my arms around them. I don't feel like a slob. I can wear two bras comfortably to keep things up. I am able to zip up my winter coat without feeling like I am about suffocate. I can actully wear a jacket under my winter coat if i need to. I can cross my legs better (I am always crossing them) I can run up and down the stairs without my knees hurting! I can go all day without deodorant and not smell like a skunk. I can shave without any problems. I love my sleeve and I look forward to many NSVs. Later Losers!

Thoughts on sugar free?
I was going to do the Stevia. But I decided not too. I do get the fat free yogurt though. If I want to add sweetness, I will use real deal Amish honey. If I have a sweet tooth, I will have a protein shake or bar. Better yet, I even made my own protein bars.
-
Exercise
I had to same problem. I do my workout 5 in the morning. Its too early for me to eat so I just drink my protein shake. But I will have kind of fruit (usually a banana),milk and either yogurt or peanut butter for more protein. Once I started this, I was fine. My NUT told me it was my sugar levels. I needed eat something.

2 Wks Out Only Down 10 Lbs
I like that Proudgrammy. I would love to seat with you. I am sure you will have me cracking up all the time. Losing 10 pounds in 2 weeks is awesome. That is a great accomplishment. My surgeon expext me to lose 10 pounds PER month by the time I see him in February. Your weight lose will slow down though. Enjoy it now. Later loser!

New recipe sooooo yummy
Sounds yummy-licious! I also saw a recipe for pizza bella. Use mushroom for the crust instead of the dough.

Eating Slowly
This is my topic. I am a fast eater. At 3 months out I can defintely eat faster. That is the worst thing you can do. The food has to travel and a few times I overate. Not a good feeling. I multi task, like one poster stated. That is the only way for me to slow down. Majority of times, my food will be cold, lol.

12 says post op, best I've felt, yet regret I did it
I agree with everyone. I felt the same way at one point. when you start eating mushy foods ( I hated this stage), you will feel full. Continue on your doctor's plan. It will get better.

Does Anyone Only Weigh Monthly?
At 3 months out, I only weighed myself at my doctors visits. People also talk about stalls, that doesn't exist for me because I don't do the scale. I know I will obsess over it and get all worked up because I didn't lose 2 pounds per week. I started to log my food intake, it didn't last long. I am not perfect but 90 percent of the time I am eating healthy. I also have myself programmed to eat every 2 hours and I measure my food. I will do only 1/4 cup of meat and 1/4 of veggies. Sometimes I can not finish. I also make sure that I have my Gatorade bottle filled with Water. If I consume 2 of those during the day then I know I had at least 8 cups. I continue to follow my surgeon's plan. The only probelm I have is eating too fast sometimes. I still do at least 1 Protein shake a day. This really helps me tame my sweet tooth, it really does. I noticed when I stopped drinkin g them, I had this huge craving for sweets. NO JOKE! I make sure to exercise and it is very important to find something that you enjoy. I always push myself to exercise, I would rather lay in my bed 430 in the morning, lol. I would say, continue with your doctor's plan and exercise. the weight will come off eventually. Later Losers!

August post op sleevers: Check in
JusTSomeGirl, I agree. This surgery is truly a blessing for us all. We have to continue to stick to our pk plan and it will continue to be downhill (scale wise) from here. It's unbelievable to me. Milestones like yours are awesome. I can't wait to reach that goal, God Willing. later losers!

That's awesome Becky J. I was thinking about the biotin as well. Not having problems but I always had a problem with my crown area. Please share what you find out. Thx

I never feel full...
Yes every 2 hours works for me. If I go over that, I start to feel sick to my stomach. The hunger pains are different now. But you are correct, it helps with getting the proteind and fluids in. Later losers!
