Thanks for this reminder.- Learning How to Eat Slowly After Weight Loss Surgery
Thanks for the article. I was always a fast eater. it is still a struggle being 5 weeks out. I must say that some distractiosn help me to eat slower. I do enjoy my food more and learned to add more flavor to my foods as well. But i find that the longer I take to eat something, I quickly lose interest in eating it. I will belch or sometimes just satisfied when it is time to quit and tell myself that the next bite could be uncomfortable.- Ok I'm mad!
Ah, you work for Apple. I saw on Rat Race Rebellion that they were hiring like last month.- DOCTOR SAYS I AM EXERCISING TOO MUCH.
Yes, that is what my NUT told me. He said my blood sugar was low. It kinda hard in the beginning when you cannot eat a lot. It seems like I am always eating. At almost 6 weeks out, i am allowed crackers. I did have my hubby buy me some Triskets reduced fat crackers. Its no harm because I can only eat one cracker, lol.- August post op sleevers: Check in
Hey Hey Hey. Motherofthree checking in. I think I am 5 weeks post op now. Pushing the water and the protein. I cannot even eat one egg in a sitting. But I am good with that. It seems like i am always eating. I try to eat every two hours. I do get hunger pains when it is time to eat, like now lol. I went back to having my oatmeal for breakfast and now its for lunch too. I feel awesome and blessed indeed. Glad to see that everyone is doing better this time out. It was not easy and for some it still is not. Let's keep focused and keep it moving. It will get better and you will come to love your new tummy. I know I do. Later losers!- DOCTOR SAYS I AM EXERCISING TOO MUCH.
Hello. We are about the same post op. I started to exercise and felt light headed as well. You have to compensate and make sure you are getting the Water in. I was told to increase my carbs a little. The body needs it for fuel. I also make sure that I eat something or drink a Protein shake before I exercise. When I did that, I did not feel light headed anymore. Listen to your body, its telling you something. And listen to your NUT as well. Why the big rush to lose weight so quickly? It will come off. Our bodies are still adjusting. Later loser!- August post op sleevers: Check in
Good job Galaxy girl. Let's keep it moving'.- August post op sleevers: Check in
Yeah, you said you went off the straight path. I wouldn't worry too much about it now. Just get back to your plan ASAP. And learn from what just happened. Thanks for sharing.- August post op sleevers: Check in
Hello and good morning to all you losers. @aredder: I love that site as well. It has some awesome food recipes and smoothie recipes as well. @@Galaxy Girl: thanks for the reminder. @ekh21ash: I hope that you can get things cleared soon. To everyone else, keep up the good work. Take your vitamins and meds, drink plenty of water, eat your proteins first and GET MOVIN'. Even if you are limited, a good walk is okay too. Later losers!- August post op sleevers: Check in
Now that I can increase my calories and eat foods, I add fruits or veggies to my protein drinks. Trying to get the protein in is not easy. MsMskeisha, try some kale or spinach in your protein shakes. Hopefully that will help you naturally. Plus you said that you are not eating much so that could be the reason too. Red meat! Yeah this is the first time I heard of no red meat until 6 months. But like someone stated, everyone has a different plan and they all seem to work. Later losers!- August post op sleevers: Check in

Mskeisha, what's the deal with the Miralax? Is it not working for you?- August post op sleevers: Check in
Hey Hey Hey! Motherof5 checking in. As of yesterday I am officially a month out. I went ti the surgeon on Monday and I am down 9 pounds. That brings me to 264 pounds now. And a total of 69 pounds friom my highest weight. Unfortunately my BP is still sky high. I still have a long journey ahead with 100 pounds more to lose. I am thankful that I do not have to take my BP meds crushed. That stuff is terrible. I did get very sick the other because I took my meds on an empty stomach. I figured it was from my first egg or the pills. So, now I am straight with that. It still depend on my prtoein shakes. Now I just add fruit to it or spinach and kale. I do the green smoothies to help with the potty issues. I switched my vitamins and started those today. Umm, I cannot eat a lot and I don't overeat. It makes me feel so bad and like something is about to come out of my throat.Who wants to feel like that? It took me all day to eat one egg, geesh. I started doing my recumbent bike, 3 days on and 1 day off. I also found an awesome app on my tablet that I can work on my upper body and bum. i will probably start that tonight or next week. No rush. other than that, I am blessed and doing awesome over here. Oh, I do not weight myself. I wait until my office visits for that. It gives me motivation, the drive to stay on track with my plan. I push myself so that hopefully I will be pleased at my next visit. My new goal is 254 when I go back in October. I noticed how awesome the August folks are doing now. It is much easier now, isn't it? Remember to stay on plan as much as possible. Drink lots of water and do the protein fisrt. Don't sweat the scale because the stall is bound to happen. You are most likely losing in inches. Later Loser!- African American vsgers!
You guys should add one tablespoon of creamy peanut butter. I tastes like Reeses for real. I also started adding fruits like strawberries or a small piece of a banana. For the potty issues, I started doing kale or spinach in them too.- African American vsgers!
@,peekboo= I am using EAS chocolate protein. @Taylor= you r doing an awesome job!- Gauze left inside me after surgery? pics inside. worried...

@@Karen Scott, check out The WorldAccordingToEggface website. She has all types of recipes. You have All recipe.com too. That site has all types of sleeve friendly recipes. I will be 4 weeks out on Friday. My NUT said I can have crackers like Triskets. I took three of those and added feta cheese, salsa, and a dot of sour cream on top. It was good eventhough I was only able to eat 1 1/2. He also suggest that I keep my sugar under 10 g per meal. Call your NUT to get clarity for their plan for you.- Gauze left inside me after surgery? pics inside. worried...
