  1. Don't worry you will be healed up and good as new by then girlie!! I hope you get better asap!
  2. I've been trolling for a little while and posted a few threads. I've seen others get verbally attacked and bullied on this site and all I want to say is don't be a bitch to folks here. Most of us already have suffered some type of abuse in some form or another and it isn't necessary. Is hurting other people making you feel better about yourself? I thought this site was to build people up ...let's be positive to one another and not hateful there is enough of that in the world already!!!!
  3. I appreciate you replying to my posts. I am not going to rush into any decision making. At first I was 100% sure. Then I started reading horror stories posted here and it scared me so I am going to take some time and make an educated decision when the time is right with my family and I. In the meantime I'm going to keep reading here ...with all you fine folks... Yes I am overweight and have health issues but I want to make sure this is the right decision for my children as well....it may be that the surgeon they had me seeing doesn't do these surgeries a lot so I may try to find another surgeon who has more experience and then my anxiety wouldn't be such an issue.
  4. Okay I guess I fit that criteria then. That's probably how I got approved for the surgery lol
  5. I am a stay at home mom...which is mentally demanding lol but not physically demanding. When do you go back to work?
  6. I am so glad you women had great recoveries!! God bless you and thank you Lord because I know how hard recoveries are especially with kids. I can't wait to see what you guys look like a year from now :-)
  7. First of all I don't consider myself morbidly obese...lol. And yes when I make the decision I will be ready.
  8. Oh and the hair falling out...
  9. It was the complications, future surgeries/revisions and pain that scared me. I'm still approved for surgery and still on the fence...I'm just going to take this decision slowly :-)
  10. Do you have some way of relieving the pain? I've heard of heating pads helping some and also Tylenol (liquid)....I hope you start to feel better soon...
  11. Oh I'm pre op but I would def call your doctor and ask them to check your blood pressure to see if you still need meds because I bet you don't. Call your doctor asap hon and hope you feel better!
  12. The dde0a is supposed to be a smilie face
  13. Thanks for all the replies ????. I have decided to wait on the surgery since my husband just got orders to alaska...this has to take a back seat. We have to be there by November 10th.
  14. I had a "drain" when I had plastic surgery...actually 3 of them. Don't worry it doesn't hurt when they pull it out. Trust me I can't take pain at all I promise it won't hurt.
  15. LMAO you can wipe your ass now? Too funny
  16. This is why I backed out of surgery. I will take my chances at weight watchers...
  17. I had to cancel my seminar (first step) because my "friend" backed out on me at the last minute from watching my kids for me. The seminar is 3 hours long and now I have to wait a whole month before going to the next one. I feel your pain and it SUCKS!!!
  18. Just out of curiosity...can they tell before hand if you have a hernia?
  19. Man I hope you feel better soon...have you told your doctor all of this? What did they say?
  20. Thank God you are feeling better!!! Wow I am so thankful. Please try to rest when you can since that's when your body does the most healing! Were pulling for you!!!! God bless you
  21. Thank you for responding everyone... I have fatty liver, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, PCOS, and BMI is 40. I know I really need this surgery but I am so scared. I have issues with anxiety too and after reading horror stories and watching numerous YouTube videos I am feeling depressed. I feel either way I am doomed and a feeling of hopelessness has set in. Going to see my primary doctor tomorrow and surgeon on Thursday and I hope someone talks me through this...
  22. I have a fatty liver and don't worry it can be reversed. Your liver is the organ that heals the fastest. Google it. :-)
  23. :-( I have 4 small children and my husband is active duty army. I want the surgery but scared about the risks...seeing the threads here it seems to be a lot more then 1%
  24. I was 100% sure about the gastric sleeve until I read some of the posts on this site. Now I'm scared shitless and I'm meeting with the surgeon in 3 days. Anyone else back out after reading some threads here???
