I was suppose to have the gastric sleeve on 8/13 unfortunately two days before I had to start an antibiotic for a severe sinus infection and they cancelled my surgery :-( I now have a date for 9/9 and I'm hoping nothing else comes up! Please note they will not do surgery if you are sick!!! The waiting is horrible. Has anyone else experienced postponing?? It stinks!

I had to cancel my seminar (first step) because my "friend" backed out on me at the last minute from watching my kids for me. The seminar is 3 hours long and now I have to wait a whole month before going to the next one. I feel your pain and it SUCKS!!!

I'm so sorry! How disappointing that would be. Let's hope that you get your surgery soon and no more setbacks.

I feel your pain. Last year I was a week into my pre-op diet a week away from surgery when a storm came through and did a bunch of damage to our house. I was self pay at the time so I had to back out so we could afford the repairs. Then when I thought I was back on track and ready to schedule my consult, my Mom was diagnosed with cancer and needed financial help. She's on track with chemo and finances, so now I'm waiting for the 13th of October through insurance. You'll get there soon enough! Hope you feel better here soon. Good luck with your surgery.
