  13. Oh yes it helps ALOT!!! However the Bariatric Coordinator who said I was approved told me the entire process happens in 6-8 weeks...is that a valid statement because everything you just described seems like it's going to take months! Do you think he exaggerated when he said 6-8 weeks!?
  14. It's amazing how the pictures look like two different people. I know gaining weight has changed my looks so much I can't wait to lose again.
  15. YOU LOOK AH MA ZING!!!!!!!!
  16. Well it's all a part of the "protocol". After I do the 3 hour seminar and 1 support group meeting then they will schedule me with the surgeon, psych eval and then move Onto labs, tests and EKG etc. but the coordinator told me the entire process from start to finish is 8 weeks. So I started August 1st and really wanting to get the surgery done by October. Keeping my fingers crossed.
  17. I'm like spazIng out over here wondering what I should expect at my psych eval to get this surgery approved. Does anyone have any information they could share on what happens during this particular part of the process? I was watching a show lastnight called "My Weight is Killing Me" and one of the females got denied because the psychiatrist said she "presented with depression" and "wasn't ready for surgery" ALL BECAUSE she cried a little during the interview... Is this true that we can't have any emotion during these interviews or we get denied???
  18. Praying for you!!!! I have my first seminar and support group coming in the next two weeks and then psych eval/labs/tests next. Please pray for me too!
  19. Thought it would be awesome to start a thread with ONLY before and after weights. The before (highest weight ever) and after (current picture). I can't wait to see you all!!!!
