I was told not to gain even 1 pound. The insurance companies are getting stricter. But it really depends on your insurance co. You could just give them a call and ask them. Good luck Summer -

Newbie, pre-op questions

Welcome Della! My surgeon is not requiring me to do a two week liquid diet. I just have to make healthy choices (I am a lower BMI). I did not have to have a colonoscopy but did have an upper endoscopy where he found a hiatal hernia which he will fix when he does my sleeve. I have not been told anything about nail polish. I am also a very picky eater but I am going to treat my smaller stomach like a new baby and try to have an open mind about ALL foods and try whatever at least once. I am hoping that with all the taste changes after surgery that I will like many new things that I try. I hope you find plenty of things that you like too. Summer -

I am scheduled for Nov 4th. Next Tuesday I have my preop labs done and Wednesday I have my pre-op class. It's getting here finally! Good luck to everyone it's an exciting time for us all Summer -
