How To Tell What Size Body Frame You Are

I also have doubts about this...on my left wrist my fingers overlap, but on my right wrist they barely touch. My hands are small, (size 4 1/2 ring) and so are my wrists.

    Need advise badly

I'm sorry you are in such a hard place right now. I'm also sorry to have to tell you that you're the only person who can decide if this is right for you. You can talk to your doctor, your friends and family, and people on forums like this one, and that infomation can be helpful, but when it comes right down to it, your the one that must decide. I suggest that you think through what the worst case scenario would be if you had the surgery, and your husband left. Could you manage? Do you have family nearby to help with the children? For me, the first month was tough, but not devestating. I returned to work (at a sedentary job) ten days after surgery, but everyone is different. What is the worst case scenario if you don't have the surgery? How is your health? Do you have weight-related health issues? If so, they will probably get worse as you age. Maybe by weighing these two sides of the issue out, you can make the best decision. As far as hair loss goes, I too, had lost a good bit of hair before the surgery, due to genetics, I think. I am 62, much older than you. I have lost hair since the surgery. It is getting pretty thin, and I may have to go to a wig. I've done some investigating, and wigs are much better than they used to be. At this point, (almost 4 months post-op), I have lost 60 lbs. and feel wonderful and have more energy than I did 20 years ago! My blood pressure is normal, and I have been able to discontinue several medications. I do not regret my decision in the least. I hope this helps. I will send some prayers your way.

    Feeling regret...

The first month is definitely the worst! It will get better soon. I am almost 4 months out now, and it is great! You will have tons of energy, and feel better than you have felt in years!

Help me, im completely freaking out!

I have taken atenolol for many years to help with a benign irregular heartbeat, known as a PVC. When I had the sleeve, the anesthesiolgist told me to take the atenolol the day of surgery. He said that beta blockers helped stabilze your heartbeat. I can't imagine why you would be prescribed a drug especially for surgery....Hope you can get to the bottom of this.

    Please Share Post-Op Diet

I had my sleeve on July 24, and will reach 2 weeks post-op tomorrow. The diet has been a drag, especially since I was on liquids for two weeks prior to surgery. I am having a very difficult time staying hydrated. I live in a very dry climate, and now that it takes me 3 hours to drink a 20 oz. bottle of Water, it's almost impossible to take in enough. I cannot do the Protein shakes anymore, they will not stay down. I can't even look at them without being nauseated. It seems as though that all the Protein drinks are sweet, and that is tiresome. I have found Isopure, which is a Protein Drink that comes in a 20 oz. bottle and is the consistency of flavored water, It has 40 grams of protein per bottle. There is one particular flavor, apple melon, that is a little tart instead of being so sweet, and I can tolerate it better. It will get better! Everyone I talked to who had had the surgery warned me that the first month would be the worst. I know a few people who have had the surgery that are now in months two or three, and they are doing much better. So, hang in there, we can do this!
