Exactly one month ago today i had the sleeve gasectomy. I am happy to say that I am down 16lbs. It feels good to be able to wear jeans that didn't even fit a month ago. My starting weight was 183 lbs and my goal is to get down to 120 lbs. Starting zumba next week and working out at home. I am determined to get to my goal weight. I hope everyone is doing well.

Im sorry you're having trouble ????...why don't you try to do something every time you get a craving. Im afraid im going to have the same problem with craving foods that I want. You can to it I have faith in you. Good luck

Just came back from my Nutrition education class. My surgery is scheduled for the 30th and I was dreading the liquid diet. But I found out that I just dont only have to do liquids I can eat food as well. I have to eat a 1000 calories, 60-80 grams of protein a day and 64oz of fluid. Im excited only 12 days left

Thanks ladies, I appreciate the input. I'm so afraid that I'm finally going to be happy with the weight I lose but unhappy that I will have hardly any hair. I know I sound vain but I think about it so much I'm worring myself.

Ever since I found out my surgery date (9-30-14) I have been very concerned about the hair loss side effect. My hair is already very thin and I'm afraid after my surgery that I'm going to lose too much hair and that I'm going to have bald spots on my head. Has anyone else felt this way?? I'm even considering about buying the product Keranique. Anyone's input is appreciated, Thanks.
