Thank you so much for that link on the weight question. I was able to calculate my expected weight loss. I was 270 and I'm 5' 5" and the website stated I can expect to lose 100 lbs. That will place me at 170 pounds. Fantastic, I will be very happy with that. I'm 197 right now and I already feel amazing. Only 27 pounds away from what is expected. Anything else is bonus but I am not going to fight it. I'll let my body dictate and I will focus on health instead.

I love it! The mirror aisle. You are almost in the 170s amylyns!!!!!!we started pretty much the same so I love that we are losing the same ❤️ I smile when I see my reflection in store windows. Funny how that's what makes our day!

I've been averaging 1200 calories a day. I'm 5ft 10in so my Nut says that's ok. And I'm fairly active.

I have a funny to tell....
I was in Hobby Lobby yesterday and I turned an isle and started walking down it, only to realize it was THE MIRROR isle! The one I usually panic and avoid quickly! Well, I glanced to the left and caught my reflection. Whoa--is that me?? I like what I see!! So I kept going down the isle, looking right-then left-then right-then left...at ALL the mirrors!! It brought me to tears how OK I was with what I was seeing in the mirror!
So then....once I was through the isle, I turned my cart around and went BACK down the isle again!!! Did some more shopping...and when I was ready to go, I went down the mirror isle just one more time on my way to the check out! Hehee!!!
    :P
And after 2 weeks at 182, my scale finally showed 181 this morning! I wasn't really too worried because I knew I've been eating what I'm supposed to be, so I knew at some point my body would let some more go. And I'm due for my period in the next day or so even--which in the past guaranteed about a 3-5 pound gain. So I welcomed that 1 pound with open arms!

I'm thinking I need to up it more, I'm supposed to be getting 700 calories and I make that yet I'm still at a stall, or severe slow down as its been 2 months and I've lost 6 or so lbs total.

. As far as not having trouble eating or thinking the dr made your pouch bigger - I think you're just one of the lucky ones that have an easier time I'd Celebrate that!
    Thanks for the reminder!

I'm supposed to be getting 1200 cals a day so no I don't think you are doing it wrong. I'm very active and work out hardcore so I actually do myself a disservice by not getting more. I just don't get there. As far as not having trouble eating or thinking the dr made your pouch bigger - I think you're just one of the lucky ones that have an easier time ???? I'd Celebrate that!

Oh beni. the better I feel the more I slip up. At least we can dust ourselves off and move forward. I'm not a sweets person in the least but I've been battling my love for salt. Darn popcorn haunts me and I'll eat it every time. I can't eat much of it so I guess that's good. I think the more I demonize a food the more I want it so I love that my dr is all about balance. He truly believes on special occasions have that tiny slice of cake - I'm thankful for that. He knows it's all in the head and if he bans something for life I'll think about it daily lol

Maybe it's in the air bc I'm up 3 lbs today. I too have upped my workouts this past week. I'm guessing Water retention due to my sore muscles screaming at me. You know logically it's impossible it's fat but it hurts to see nonetheless. Up your water intake and let's see what happens next weigh in ❤️

In case anyone wonders - I went ahead and pulled the trigger with care credit. I was approved very easily with 18 month interest free term. When I decide on a date this will help tremendously ❤️

Boobs are a lot easier, recovery-wise. So maybe those first and then work your way up to the TT? If you do the TT first, you may change your mind about having boobs done, since that one is tough! Or you could do them both at the same time, like I did, and just get it over with so you only have one recovery period. One thing to keep in mind in addition to the time off and the pain... each time you are recovering from surgery you will have to cut way back on exercise, so that's always a scary prospect when you are relying on regular exercise to keep your weight in check.
I have to have my boobs redone soon due to malpositioning of my left implant and I am DREADING falling back to square one with my upper body strength training and running.

Trust me. We all go through those moments of fear that it'll be just one more tool we fail to use correctly...but it's not. The stall is normal and gain as well - it's not fat. Your weight loss will continue. Keep your fluids up most importantly! A lot of people stress about Protein which is important but my doctor stressed fluids in the beginning. You'll get over this and it will be a distant memory ❤️

Well, I'm about 30 lbs away from goal and totally obsessed with the idea of plastics. I have always had a large chest that is purely breast tissue so my 36G chest is sagging like nothing I've ever seen. I guess breastfeeding three kids didn't help either. My stomach from three c sections is not nice for a 28 yr old either.
This brings me to my question....with savings accumulating incredibly slow - has anyone financed their plastics? Care credit interest free promotions are my interest specifically. If you have, was it hard to approve for?
    Curiosity needs answers ????❤️

I'm glad I'm not the only one who kept this so private. I get so mad because I want to be honest when people ask me what has helped but I can't. The vague "im working with a doctor" is my go to answer. I really wish the stigma wasn't there but it is. Our hard work is discredited when you mention surgery. I hate that I'm made to feel guilty over my decision but then again nothing in this world could make me say I made the wrong decision. Ugh.

I had my plastics in Mexico, so they weren't prohibitively expensive to begin with, but the way I financed mine was to borrow against my retirement. If you or your husband have a retirement account, you should look into that option. The nice thing about it is that you are just paying yourself back with interest.

Not true. I'm a vegetarian. Easily 75% of what I eat contains fiber. I have been eating them since day 1. When I was all liquid I would make a bean Soup. I also added a bit of spinach to my Protein drinks and Soups.
As for vegetables try what you like. Just allow time to see if you body reacts negatively before adding anything else new. I have been enjoying small green salads since 6 weeks out.
As for grains, I don't eat white rice, but I have had brown rice and quinoa with no issues.
I have never had Constipation or diarrhea. I had my first BM 3 days after coming home from the hospital and I've been regular ever since.
