  1. I was told no and I have 2 full bags and half a container of chocolate.
  2. Nothing wrong with thinking that way.... You will make it your reality soon.
  3. Why not.... It's cute and a great price.
  4. I have never heard of the coconut before either.... I love it but I can certainly get by without it. My doctor said that I won't have the desire to indulge in foods like I use to. He told me that I could gain the weight back and return to eating the way I did pre-op if I was determined to.

I have already decided that I will just have to buy a wig and hope for the best.
  6. We have pretty much had the same thing so far but I opted for chicken broth today. My husband is kinda fasting with me.. So that makes it easier.
  7. That's awesome..... Congrats!!!
  8. Did your surgeons say that you had to watch your carb intake during your liquid fast pre-surgery. I'm logging my liquids on MFP and EVERYTHING has carbs in it.
  9. I'm doing great so far but I am use to drinking my Breakfast already. It's lunch and dinner time that may be difficult. I have had a Protein shake for breakfast, some watermelon Water, and 1/4 of an organic raw kombucha drink so far.
  10. I was told no by my nutritionist. She say why go back down that path after surgery.
  11. I agree... I think your feelings are totally normal. I have a mix of excited nerves but I am so ready for this change.
  12. Once you go to the last NUT visit things go crazy fast from that point.
  13. I'm on the 8th as well.... I have another thread going for the 8th and 9th. I probable enjoyed myself a bit too much this weekend but I am ready to go.
  14. It is officially the 1st!!!!! One more week to go. Let the drinking BEGIN!
  15. Hi.... Glad you found us. I figured more ppl would look as it got closer to the start of the diet too.... We are gonna need this support. Have any of you gone to a local support group yet?
  16. Oh I know.... That IV is the worst and I can tolerate a lot. The last time I was in the hospital it left my arm black and blue. You are lucky you don't have to share a room.... Fingers crossed that I won't either. I bet it will be more comfortable walking around in pants vs. a gown anyway. I can't believe this day is half over.... Are you guys ready for this?
  17. Nice list.... Very similar to mine. I am wearing a dress home because in afraid to have anything around my stomach. I hope I don't forget to take my before pic. Do you know if you get your own room in the hospital? I have never had to share a room before.... So that might be interesting.
  18. They do pre-admin over the phone here and I don't have any pre-surgical classes. Crazy how different everyone's experience is. When I start thinking about how surgery is just around the corner.... I get that excited nervous feeling in the pit of my stomach. Part if me thinks I would feel better if I just pack and get an idea of what I need to buy. I have a feeling A.F. Is gonna be visiting me at the hospital. SUCKS!!!
  19. Oh wow, sorry to hear about your back. I hope your family understands that you are at the end of the road with that old life and things will start changing for the better quickly. I am mainly looking forward to getting off meds. A close second is just being comfortable in my own skin. Something as simple as sitting on the couch w/out feeling like I need to use a pillow to hide my midsection.
  20. It's going well... Just one more day before the lovely liquid begins!!!! I am not a fan of the gowns either.... I have been wanting to pack my hospital bag for a few days not but I'm trying not to jump the gun. I have my pre-op on Tuesday and should get scheduled with the hospital on Thursday or Friday. I am going to a BBQ tomorrow.... I hope it's a perfect end to my old life. What have you been up to?
  21. Pre-op Physical, bloodwork, & EKG.
