Gah! Don't know if is because I am healing but the last two days I am a bottomless pit! I never ever feel this way. It might just be the need for comfort food. Ugh!

I have meet my goal weight! 113 down and gone forever

11 months post-RNY today. I did my usual weighing/measuring/etc, and though I only lost 6 pounds in the last month, I did lose a couple inches. Plodding along now... I've lost 168 since surgery and at least 223 pounds overall. I have not made the goal weight that I had for myself at the beginning of this year, and I'm still 219 pounds, but I now realize that I truly don't care. I'm healthy, happy, and I don't hate the way I look in the mirror. Everything that comes after this is just gravy.

Bah humbug. I made chili for dinner and ate just a smidge too much.

I have lost of total of 248.6 pounds, I now weigh less than I have lost. Just went today for my 6th month blood work up. I see the surgeon on July 25th. I hope the blood work up will be good and am hoping to lose another 6 to 8 pounds before I see him.

I am feeling excited today. I signed up at the pro health center in Pewaukee, Wi. Having such severe arthritis in my back, neck and shoulders makes it very difficult to exercise enough to burn calories. This center has a warm water therapy pool , warm water lap pool, whirlpools, saunas, full service spa, full service gym and even an acupuncture therapist. I am scheduled to have my first ever acupuncture session. I am a little scared but very hopeful that it will improve my pain.

When people suck the life out of you, wouldn't it be nice if they took some fat too?...hahaha

Anyone else had annoying painful hiccups days after surgery

Waking up at 4:45 am sucks, especially when you don't have to.

Have a fabulous vacation!!!
We have the tools and knowledge. Remember your program guidelines.
I went prepared with individual servings of my favorite protein powder and Quest bars for the times I might need or want them. Needless to say, these things traveled a lot of miles and came home with us.
When I couldn't order a child's meal, or my hubby and I didn't want to split a meal, I always ate the protein first, always. I did leave any uneaten food behind since I couldn't take leftovers "home."
Have a wonderful trip! I've no doubt you will do well with your food choices!

I am now about 13 or 14 weeks out and have lost 43lbs. I feel like this is not good but i know everyone loses at their own pace. Is there any food out there that we can use when those salty cravings hit. I've really not had any sweet cravings which for me is a milestone in itself but am i lacking in the sodium department? What do any of you suggest for when those cravings hit?
