  1. Hi Connie - I'm a little too far for the walk - I'm up in Windsor, just north of Santa Rosa, but would love to talk with someone who's had the lap band as I'm just beginning my research. I'm 61, by the way, so we're in the same age group and the same part of the State, anyway.
  2. Wow - I'm 61 and just beginning my search into Lap Banding - my knees are giving out and they won't consider surgery until I lose over 100 pounds. I hadn't heard there was a cut-off age, I guess it makes sense, but being already 61 its scary to realize I'm near the end of the eligible period. Especially since I'm hearing that it can take a long time to go through the processing and actually get to the starting point!
