  1. I'm 6 weeks post ad well. I had a 3 week stall! I stepped on the scale today and down 4 pounds. Hoping the loss continues.
  2. I love the nectar too! What flavor did you get? I have the fuzzy navel but want to try others.
  3. I measure everything. I eat 1 1/2 oz of meat at meals.
  4. I took one week off and it was plenty. I had 0 pain on day 5.
  5. I was eating yogurt the next morning after surgery in the hospital!
  6. Ricotta cheese topped with a good marinara and shredded parmesan and mozzarella and baked till brown and bubbly. Delicious!!! My fav
  7. I feel real stomach growling hunger. I wasn't expecting to feel it so it am very disappointed, but I do eat much much less. Just a few ounces and I'm satisfied. Some days I eat much more than other days. Today is a day that I hardly ate anything, yesterday I are a lot more.

  9. Ricotta mixed with liquid egg white and baked with marinara sauce on too topped with a little fresh parmesan and mozzarella. Delish!!
  10. My dr has a very strict three week liquid diet. I couldn't handle it. It was so depressing so on the third week I added cottage cheese, refried beans and a good cheddar cheese. I chewed chewed chewed until they were liquid in my mouth and then swallowed. I did fine. Didn't delay my weight loss either.
  11. I am three weeks post op and eat 1 cup of cottage cheese, 2oz cheddar cheese and 1-2 protein shakes a day. Am I eating too much? It averages about 500 calories. My weight is at a stand still. I appreciate any feedback.
  12. I am 2 weeks post op. I can answer any questions you may have. It's a struggle at times, but very worth it. Down 30 pounds woo hoo!
  13. I'm 2 weeks post op and have no fatigue. I hope it stays this way. Went back to work 7 days post op.

  15. I took one week vacation. I was very ready after 7 days to get back to work. I do have a desk job but no fatigue or pain on day 7 for me.

  17. I'm 9 days post op ( surgery last Tuesday). I don't think I am eating enough. I am on a liquid diet for 3 weeks after my surgery and also am allowed yogurt and strained creamed soups. Today I had a premiere protein shake, 1/2 bottle of Isopure, almost 1/2 can of tomato soup and a couple spoonfuls of Greek yogurt. Am I eating enough? Info feel hunger.
  18. In my support group people have a timer to remind them to drink every 5 minutes and walk every 15 minutes. Anyone know what timer they are using? I really want one. Just read a FB post last night that a young woman died 10 days after vsg due to a blood clot. Scares me.

  21. Around how many ounces of food do you eat each meal? How many snacks each day and what is a normal snack for you? How far out are you?
  22. If you are going to eat 4 oz of meat. Do you measure 4 oz before or after cooking. This is probably a dumb question, but I have no clue.
  23. I have Anthem Blue Cross and my medical group is Newport Medical Group. That is who they are billing. They only require BMI over 40, 2 co morbilities, psych evaluation, Dr talk and nutritionist visit. I got it all done in 1 day, except the psych eval. I have that next week. This is moving so fast for me. I hope after insurance approves me, it moves quick dr le port's office seems slooooooow. I would love to hear from anyone who went through or who is going through Dr leport's office in fountain valley, ca. Thanks!
