My surgeon told me to take one bite every 10 minutes while eating a meal. He said it will take me one hour to eat half of a sandwich. Is this true? Do sleevers practice this? This seems crazy to me. I'm willing to do anything if need be but this seems over the top to me. He also said I would eat around 1/4 cup of food each meal. Do you all eat this little? Are you satisfied after eating this little amount of food?

Want to get the band but all these horror stories are scaring the sh.. Out if me!! I love the idea of losing the weight slowly as opposed to how quickly you lose it with the sleeve. Can I hear some success banders stories? Can I hear about all the positive things that happen when you got your band? How it changed your life? I need it! Ha ha. Thank you to you all!

I am attending a seminar at the new dimensions bariatric center a week from today. I am so excited. They take care if the nutritionist, psych evaluation and everything else in one day! I still need insurance approval though. I have Anthem bc of California. I have a 42 bmi with high blood pressure and am pre-diabetic. I'm pretty sure I will be approved but am hoping I won't need months with a nutritionist. Anyone else deal with anthem blue cross or new dimensions bariatric center in Fountain Valley? First time posting on here but have been stalking all your posts for a few weeks now lol. Any advice is appreciated
