Jodie.. this really isn't a place for me to get personal with you, but since you posted the info I am responding to here...here I go. I don't know much about you, and I am rather new here. You cannot have a baby so it can love you, and you love it back. Sweetie, you will be disappointed, and more than likely develop Post Pardon Depression. Also, from a couple of other recent post you don't seem stable enough for a child, you entered in a relationship with a male you barely knew, had unprotected sex and now you might have HPV, and are expecting a child; you have a lot going on honey. That child will need a lot of care, and I know you really want this baby(maybe you think it will solve a lot of things in your life) but I really think you need to consider adoption. I am sorry if I come off harsh, I in no means, mean to hurt your feelings...but at some point one have to take in mind the well-being of the fetus. Having a baby isn't a cure and won't fix whatever lead you to make irresponsible decisions in the past, nor will it lead you to make responsible ones in the future. Maybe your insurance can help you find a support group. A baby doesn't fix your being lonely, it will just frustrate you when you do have a chance to be with friends, and the child stops you. Sometimes mothers who feel like they have no way out have went to drastic measures to get a way out. I wish you the best of luck and hope you find incorruptibility and ethical strength from this point on...

I know that people believe that it is a sin. However, it is hard for me to see forgiving a crime like rape or murder and/or comparing it to homosexuality is just absurd. Those two don't compare to who someone loves or are attracted to. I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would think accepting who someone is attracted to is causing the deaths of innocent soldiers who are doing a gracious duty for their country. You know I wouldn't want his forgiveness, in fact not even his love-not anyones who would feel that way. It takes folks a long time to accept who they are, come to grips with it, move on and try to live a great life without someone passing judgment on them...I say once you get over the crap from family-- screw everybody else.

That would work if I was to lazy and to dumb to do a follow-up read just for the knowledge and being informed. The fact is... Without any of these women being alive, scholars and biographers can write anything they want about them, who is around to dispute it. I use wiki for short stories and off beat poetry I write. I am voicing an opinion here about how I feel about another womans right to choose an abortion, and how none of us have a damn say in what she does. Whether I come off credible to someone who would like to invade someones body so they can sleep at night isn't an issue to me... I know I will never be one of those people. I will never have a need to have an abortion, but who am I to tell someone what to do with theirs. I just feel that if 10 women came to a few of you pro-lifer saying can one of you take our babies and care for them, and our prenatal care... I bet you won't put up.

I have tons of pictures from childhood of me in tube tops and halter tops. However, I think the times were so much simpler and innocent than now. I remember a group of friends and I were walking home from school(middle school) I had on a sweater dress and leggings, and an old man came up to me and said" you are going to make some man a nice wife one day," now-a-days they take it a step farther than words...and that was still very creepy for me. I have God-kids and I but them frilly dresses, tights with cartoon characters on them, and mary jane shoes with the Big buckles on them...

However, during this time a lot of women lost their live, or their uterus' due to back room abortions. They were so desperate that they either took a wire hanger and did it themselves, or they let a shady Doctor do it. The need for legal abortions didn't have that much to do with unwed mothers feeling ashamed. Most don't realize that shortly before abortions became legal there were to movements for rights Civil rights for blacks, and equal rights for women. I as many others believe, that if it wasn't for equal rights for women, abortions would still be illegal. In my state(Maryland) Medicaid pays for both gastric bypass and the lap band. There were a few people at the seminar I went to that asked quite a few questions about Medicaids coverage. However, a lot of Surgeons won't accept it still because of Medicaids slow payment for gastric bypass.

Not what I said. I laid blame on the local government for their evacuation plains. The Mayor is a dim-wit and so is the Governor. They are all at fault. THEY ALL PLAYED POLITICS WITH THOSE PEOPLE'S LIVES!! And let's not start with the questions of why NO and other places still look like Hurricane Katrina happen last month! FEMA was a lot of things and still are with their fake Press Conferences and Press Core...

The evacuations in NO were a suggestion. The local Government could have used those buses that were photographed under water to evacuate the residence. Presidents Clinton, and current Bush knew those levies wouldn't hold, but neither alloted the appropriate monies to THE ARMY CORE OF ENGINEERS, because this is a Federal Government entity. The Superdome to wasn't set up for all those people, so when everything else started to fail they were forgot about. Things were so desperate there, that a lot of the police officers were making up the rape stories...they came clean weeks later those who were still around. I just think that it boils down to nobody in power cared about those low-income, poor people, not even the media who called the Refugees. Browny doing a heck of a job, Condi buying shoes, Bush doing photo ops... Five days...:angry
