I am 4 months out now post gastric sleeve. I love hearing about success. This surgery has changed my life for the better. I am only 30 pounds from goal. My heaviest weight before surgery was 268. I am now 184 since last weighin this past Sunday. 

Wowsa iammomof3!! That is truly spectacular weight loss...especially for a woman! Clearly you are exactly on course and doing great! I'm so glad you weren't offended by my taking a risk to query you on your eating habits. I just think we in the bariatric surgery community owe it to each other to tell the truth, at all times, because there's a lot of BS and spin out there. This is serious business, and folks like yourself are heroes and role models to potentially thousands of other people who are suffering like we were under the morbidly obese nightmare. Sooo happy for you lady!!

Wow will2014!!! You are doing great. So happy for you. I am now 5 1/2 months post-op and down 98 pounds. I'm pretty proud of myself. I have not reverted to old habits except for lack of exercise. I avoid it like the plague which is something I know I need to change. I so want to drink diet coke but have not given into that urge. All in all I'm progressing nicely. Thanks for the feedback!!

A little over a month out and loving my progress already!

Still losing down to 270

I had surgery on 11/19 (4 weeks ago). Including the 12 pounds that I lost pre-op I am 40 pounds down!!  

4 months 70 lbs. Please recommend this to anyone you know I tell random people who I see over weight and show them and they tell me they are going to do it there is no feeling that's more amazing than that. Sadly a majority of the over weight people don't know about this surgery because their doctors don't tell them I was one of these people until a stranger told me about it my mother was afraid about the surgery and begged me not to do it but I did it anyway and she is proud with the results and says it was the best decision I made in my life merry Christmas and god bless you people.

4 months in and 70 lbs down feeling great but weight loss has slowed down. And I'm going to start exercising. I'm only 19.

Little past my half way point. Down 66 LBS. 60LBS more to my goal weight.  

Able to roller skate now! No more sitting down at kids birthday party's for this dad!

Basically it's a step past the sleeve where the duodenal valve is switched from the small intestine to the large intestine. I have almost no absorption of fats and calories but also Vitamins and nutrients so I take a lot of supplements.
