  1. Thanks, I'm better now. I'm just impatient. Got thru (it was all of 5 minutes) one month from now will be my last appointment then on to my surgery date!
  2. The only time I ever lost any weight was on Atkins. I was what failed not the diet. I started eating refined foods again.
  3. Okay I'm out...if I can't have my warm yummy cup of cofffee bean love I'm not doing this!... only kiddin:) kind of
  4. I'm as liberal as they come. Obnoxious is someone just obnoxious.
  5. That is amazing Jim! Send this pic to the loud mouth. Lol it's a personal choice, some people just can't stand the thought of that aggressive surgery. I liked Rosie O'Donnell when she had her first show, maybe because they had her under the corporate leash. But she just grates on my nerves now.
  6. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat so if you're exercising you're putting muscle whether there was fat. Some of us may not get to that "perfect weight" but your body knows what it needs. And check out this picture, if you've lost several of these then you're doing great!. Think about how your not huffing and puffing just walking a block isn't feeling good the point of all of this?
  7. Tomorrow @10...this is just driving me crazy. I hate waiting. I hate not knowing if they'll get me in before the end of December. For some reason I'm feeling depressed more. I should be happier I'm almost there. I'm not afraid of the surgery. I guess it's just that we're struggling right now with me out of work and I've been tracking all my food but I'm not seeing any difference. I'm usually under 1200 cal. I just want results it's been a rough week, drama, every time I turn around. My dogs health is going downhill fast. I've been chasing him around with a mop and his leash. The insurance company took out a large pymt 3 days early and bounced my checking acct. Just keeping decent food on the table is a struggle. I had a great pcp and she left the practice and the new doctor is an idiot. I'm in constant pain with my back and she isn't listening to me. It's the anniversary of my mother's death and my son's birthday at the same time. I'm sorry I didn't mean this to be a rant our I would have put it in that category. I just don't know how to get out of this funk. I'm sorry y'all. I'm just having a pity party.
  8. Nyc has the double Decker tour buses too pay one fee(30.00ish) and get on and off as you please. Another bus every 15 minutes. It stops at most of the major sites. I have major mobility issues and it was fun
  9. P TOWN is so much fun! I used to go there twice a summer, memorial day and labor day. I was young then and most of its a blur(they can party their butts off there) but you do have to have liberal sensitivities since it is quirky artsy and the key west of the north.
  10. I'm only on my 3 month supervised diet(half way thru) but I love my quisenart immersion blender, Kashi cereal(it's weird because I can't eat regular cereal it upsets my stomach.) Pb2 love it I sprinkle it on everything! I make really good trail mix with the kashi and dried fruit and pb2 for my nightime snack
  11. Yay Alex! Looking good Brooklyn! Christie looked way bigger than 350 tho. I think they're not being truthful about his starting weight.
  12. I'm originally from Ny and nyc is super amazing! I was just back there last month. First time in 25 yrs! Also coincidentally I'm from the Tampa bay area in Florida as well and siesta key is gorgeous.
  13. That's what my issues with the caves was as well. That and I have eyesight issues, it takes me a long time for my eyes to adjust to light and I'm walking(or trying to) walk with a cane. I'm hoping this surgery relieves my back issues some(big chest, big stomach takes a toll.) Il have to check out keeneland.
  14. I'm a fairly good speller but I sometimes this phone has a mind if it's own. It always changing my "to" to "too" on me. I try to go back to fix the auto correct but someone I forget
  15. I hope that's where my addiction goes lol
  16. I only moved to Kentucky 2 yrs ago but it's beautiful. Late spring and if you're here and it's a full moon go to Lake Cumberland to see the Moonbow. A rainbow at night. Also they have a natural bridge that I'm dying to see. Mammoth Caves. I wanna go back when I'm thin. It's not a good place for a blind in one eye fluffy girl whose knees had only been replaced 6 months earlier tho . Lol Go to see Lincoln's Birthplace. They have the log cabin inside what looks like a it's own memorial that reminds you of the one in Washington.
  17. Pemaquid point lighthouse in Maine. I went when I was 20yrs old and it still l is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. http://www.bristolparks.org/lighthouse.htm
  18. Well if my brother in law is any indicator after he had his bypass all he had to do to go was eat something sweet and it was off to the races (quite literally) Ya gotta love this group you can talk about everything and not feel embarrassed.
  19. Is it accessible thru an android. My lap top is about to have the death knell tolled on it.
  20. Glad to hear it! found out mine were benign as well...
  21. What about android Alex? I don't think it's as bad as the iPhone but it happens enough
