    Started at 260 now 174. It has slowed down a lot but I'm still losing.

    Oh and I drove 4 days post op to kids soccer practice and long distance 1 week post op. (6 hour).

    I am almost 6 weeks post op. no pain meds taken since day two, only nausea once since coming home. I didn't have any of the bad side effects. No gas pain, etc. down 36 from 3 days pre op.

    I was slow to lose until I started soft foods. Now it's dropping quickly. I would rather lose slow so my skin shrinks with the weight loss and I have less chance of the saggy skin.

    I am itchy as well and I am two weeks out today. Went to Dr. for post op appt. down 21 pounds. He said I am allergic to the adhesive they used to help the steri strips stay attached. He said use a Hydrocortizone creme.

    I have rashes at the steri strip sites in three places. Itches like crazy. Im only 4 days post op. Dr says they have to stay in place until Thursday. Benadryl and Hydrocortizone creme. UGH!!!

    I cant stand the shakes for protein. I found pouches you drop into water bottles called Pro2Go. I bought lemonaide and orange. They are both really good and 10 of protein for each one. You are killing 2 birds with one stone. Water and protein.

    I was sleeved yesterday as well in St. Louis. Operation time 8 am. Didn't release me until 4:30 today. Running a low grade fever and very sore.

    so many emotions today. I have never been nervous and scared about surgery before but I am this time. I don't think I will sleep tonight.

    Same thing here! I got the call with times from the hospital today. I have to be there at 5:30 am and surgery around 8. EEEK!!

    I started mine today. Had to choke down the protein shake this morning. So thick. I put it over ice and it was better. Drinking water and had a sf jello At lunch. My surgery is Thursday. Pretty nervous but keep telling myself ill be fine.

    I have all ready purchases some stuff. Sugar free Popsicles, sf jello, yogurt, broth, tomato soup. Protein shakes. I don't have to start my pre surgery diet until 3 days before.

    I'm self pay. Insurance doesn't cover it. I could have had the surgery the following week but I had a trip planned. Scheduled for my return.
