Hey, Should we meet somewhere closer to Charlotte instead of Concord on the 8th?

This is so exciting! I can't wait to meet you all! So are we meeting at night or durning the day? I'm not exactly sure where were meeting on the 8th, but I'm game! Later in the afternoon would be good for me, but what ever works for all of you is ok with my. I had my endoscopy yesterday for Dr.V Dr. Werth did it. He's a real nice guy. They said I tried to talk through the whole thing..lol..For people who know me they are not suprised! I thought the stay in the hospital was only 1 night. I really would rather have 2 nights! I live near Providence Rd and 485, anyone near me? Bye for now,

Hi, Congrats on the band. I'm waiting for reports and test results to get to the dr, to get to the insurance office! Did you spend 1 or more nights in the hospital? Thanks for asking the slime question, I was wondering myself!

Thanks for your replies. Can you explain to me what everyone is talking about when they say slime and PB? Is there dumping? I had my endoscopy yesterday! I'm getting closer! I just need that report and a few others and then it's off to the insurance company!

Hi, This is a cool site I just hope I can figure it out! I want to have the band. I met with the Dr. today. It is exciting to here I'm a good candidate,but sad also. I think I'm ready. Hi Kathy, I'm not far from 485 Providence Rd area. It would be good to get together. I have met so many people that have had the other surgeries. I know only one bander and he is in NJ. I haven't seen him in over 25yrs! Are you having a tough time? I'm excited and scared at the same time!

Hi, I'm brand new to this site, so I hope I don't mess stuff up. I live in the Charlotte area. It's good to see other people in the area are either having the lap band or have had the lap band. I had my first appointment with Dr.V this afternoon. Everything is rolling. Wednesday I have my endoscopy. How are people doing with the band? I know the other types of surgeries you loss fast, I just like the advantages more with the band. If anyone is looking for a therapist, I have the best! She hadher stomach stapled in 97. She told me if I could find 5-10 people she would consider starting a group for us with a small fee. If anyone wants to know more about her please let me know. I can't wait to hear from you.
