Love the t-shirt quote!!! Reminds me of my father's leather jacket back in his young hoon days . He rode a bike (BSA) in the late fifties and had the prerequisite black leather jacket, with the letters N.R.N.R.H. printed on the back. They stood for No Root, No Ride Home! If you know any Aussie slang, you'll understand why our family LOVES to tease my mother about the fact that she used to ride on the back of that bike! :thumbup:

I suspect that for the most part the "sneak attack" is the result of ignorance, not lack of consideration. If a guy doesn't know better, he could be getting his only knowledge of anal from porn movies, where they don't bother to show you all the preparation that the girl has done before the film starts rolliing - it just looks like it slides right in there on the first attempt. Now I'm pretty sure that even for the pornstar women, it takes a bit of preparation but for those of us who don't make a living taking a huge one up the kaiber on a daily basis, it takes more than just a little!

You should be in bandland by now, so let us all know how you're doing. Day Three post-op was the toughest for me (all the anasthetic finally wore off) but it was all up, up, up from there - and then the Fantastic Voyage begins!

Whoohoo!! Got my date for plastic surgery :thumbdown:. It all happens on Monday, 7th December. It's going to be a long wait but at the same time, I'll bet it goes really quickly. I have to lose a minimum of 10kg (22lb) before then - six months to do it, so it is eminently possible! Just have to get seriously back on the program again...

Woot woot!! Got my date!! It all happens on Monday, 7th December. YAY!! Now to get serious about the weight loss and fitness program all over again. I have to lose a minimum of 10kg in six months. I can do that!!!

At this stage, I'm trying to book a December or January date, but it will be tricky as I need the theatre for the full day (9 hour surgery!) and apparently Dr Allbrook only has one day a month where he gets the theatre for the whole day. I really need to do it around the Xmas break, so that I can minimise my time off from work - I'm a contractor and if I don't work, I don't get paid, no sick leave, etc. So...six months to lose 10kg and then I can get my new body!! Can't wait!!

Yup, you can pay to have someone wax it all... My local salon has one woman who specialises in the brazillian (the other girls just do legs and armpits) and she is awesome. She does the whole lot and at the end, gets you to lie on your side with one knee drawn up while she does the "back" (which doesn't hurt as much as it sounds like it would...). The results are wonderful. I don't know what prices are like in the US, but my salon charges $25 (AUD) for half leg, $15 for armpits and $35 for the brazillian, so for $75 a month, I am smooooooooooth all over

Ha!! The only reason you are staying under that glass ceiling is so that you can look up the skirts of the women who've climbed above you!!!

I'm back at Argyle for my last swing before starting the new job. As it turns out, I had fortuitously arranged for my parents to come and visit the mine site this week (as they were travelling through the area on holiday). I took yesterday and today off work and we have spent the time looking around the area and doing some serious birdwatching. I've been able to give my new camera a real workout and got some great bird pics! Okay folks, for those of you who would like to see pics of my vacation: Day One - the room - damn, should have taken more of the hotel and grounds. It was gorgeous! Oops! Day Two - on the beach... The rest will have to wait till tomorrow night... good night all!

LOL - the nekkid part of the beach was further up, past a bunch of rocks and taking photos of the nekkid people is considered VERY bad manners! You'll just have to content yourself with thoughts of my nekkid boobies floating in the salt water... :grouphug: (I LOVE how boobies float!!)

Oooh! With everyone who's been having employment troubles lately finally finding some light at the end of their tunnels, I think I can safely post this without being insensitive to other people's problems: New job for me!! After over 2 years at Argyle, I'm ready to move on and have secured a new 6 month contract based in Perth, so no more FlyIn/FlyOut after this swing! Argyle were offering more work after my current contract but they've been dithering about it for months, wouldn't put it in writing and were quibbling over my rates. I've been semi-looking for other work all year and got a reply last week to an application that I had put in a few months ago. I was on site at the time, so did a phone interview, which went well. They wanted to meet face-to-face, so I ended up doing the irl interview on the Tuesday morning before I flew to Broome in the afternoon (2/6/09). I got the word on over this weekend that I was successful and they want me to start before July. This will be my last swing at Argyle - I'll miss the place a lot I think, but I'm really over FIFO and want to be home full time for the next 6 months at least, while I get this house thing sorted out (more delays there, ARGH!). I've now got to write to the people at Argyle that were offering me work but wouldn't commit in writing, to say "too late, you snooze, you lose!"

Believe me, Plain, surprise buttsex is only funny when it happens to someone else. When it happens to you, it HURTS!!

Gotta love waxing... got the legs, armpits and fanny done the day before I left for Broome and was able to spend the week nekkid on the beach with no worries about stubble. Even now (9 days later), I'm still smooth, smooth, smooth... With shaving, the stubble gets scratchy within HOURS let alone days and days... (PS: Heheh - Fanny waxed her fanny :grouphug:. For my US friends, the word "fanny" DownUnder means your veejayjay, not your butt ).
