    Stomach Gurgles

I am 10 months po..mine gurgles all the time! Loud!
  5. My first few months was awful mentally emotionally and my tummy was tiny. Took 4 or so months to get in 3 or 4 bites which i didn't care of the amount i knew going into this the reason so it was doing exactly what it was meant to do. I have had 12 yrs of therapy. And the last 2 yrs of it was the biggest for me ..the biggest break thru. Food was my friend, my comfort, it didn't talk back and it didn't hurt me emotionally but in all actuality it did affect me. My brain depended on the brain chemicals the sugar and junk released and i was addicted and it caused all sorts of diseases and health issues. I became bulemic. The first month or 2 alot of hormones are being released from fat loss. I was bitchy, grouchy i cried at the drop of a bucket. My emotions were all over the place. I understand. As mentioned earlier getting to the root of addictions are vital in order to own take responsibility and deal with and change. I am 10 months out ..6 months was my great turning point. Takes 6 months to heal inside properly according to my internist. I understand. But your still early on and your having what i would think normal thoughts at least i relate but believe me you'll change your mind. Hang in there and its a good idea to talk to a prefessional. Not good idea to replace one addiction for another. Best wishes..

    Which surgery?

this helped me and both of my specialist referred me to the sleeve. I take certain scripts and with the sleeve less malabsorption problem. I am tickled to death with the sleeve. 10 months out and over 100 pds down! this is a good site to read..I just googled then with the direction of my internist and endo they directed me to this sleeve. do your research. this forum is awesome but each person has to decide whats best for their situation. ALL surgery's have risk . stick to your surgeons program . wish you the best..I hope this website paste's for ya..http://www.bariatric-surgery-source.com/types-of-bariatric-surgery.html

  21. there is medication that I will stop need for along time due to mental disorders ,plz don't beat yourself up..I just have to work harder..everyone's different..Its not a matter of self discipline or willpower or lack thereof it's a real struggle and I still do daily. I'm not saying it's an excuse so I don't wanna start a war of words or opinions with anyone I understand what your saying. When I had my total thyroid work up I had to go on armour med and it helped alot but still struggling with emotional eating. Hang in there. I take 1 day at a time. Xx ????

It's so WEIRD not looking fat.

my last baby was 27 yrs ago yesterday and I'm now back in pre pregnancy size/weight..i also have hashis..thyroid disease..on med doing really great. I'm 10 months PO and over 100 down..I was sleeved..I was scared or had fear of dropping the weight simply bc it was used to hide. I was afraid of being exposed it was an emotional or safe suit (fat suit) I had emotional baggage from past..therapy got me through I was directed to this surgery for reversal of insulin resistance and pre diabetes and thyroid disease. I am happier then ever! Wish you the best..best desicion Iv ever done for me and my health! ????I also worried about others opinions..I didn't openly discuss bc I wasn't out for approval..now I don't care So much. Iv lost consistently about 2 wk..

    really struggling

I know you must be desperate for some "real" food, but take it very slow and pre-measure your food when you move onto the next phase. This is when the restriction starts to become REAL. I remember the first time I ate a scrambled egg... it took me 45 minutes to eat about 3/4 of it (had to keep reheating it in the microwave) and I was literally lying on the floor in pain from the constriction in my esophagus. TAKE IT SLOW! I only got 2 navy bites in first time I tried a scrambled egg..I stopped. I was almost 4 months before I was trying solids more. **baby bites** dang auto..
