    The things people eat!

@@Nikkidoodlebug - In my opinion, theres no way she can be eating that much with the sleeve. i had the sleeve done july 2, 2014 - I'm down more than 100lbs. I do cheat and have some junk food every now and then, but its PORTION SIZE that really matters. She shouldn't even be capable of eating that portion size. I would throw up or be extremely uncomfortable if i were to do that. AND I DONT WANT TO DO THAT. The sleeve has given me a NEW LIFE. A NEW ME. Im the happiest I've ever been. WHO would want to ruin that. Food is an addiction, and it sounds like whoever you're talking about needs more help than just the surgery. ( you can stretch your stomach back to the size it was before the surgery, i know that. That alone is scary to me)

    tuna, chicken, pork.... meats!

Love eggs! I have one in the mornings usually... What other soft foods are good? I'm going to try a tuna fish and bean blended dip.

    Gas pains

I'm doing well... I just rub lotion on and keep my shirt off for a few minutes. and rub it in really well... Don't put lotion on open wounds though... Do you have a drain hole? That took the longest to heal for me. Then I have 4 small incisions that had surgical glue on them. That'll stay on for a couple weeks and slowly peel off as you heal. It's easy as pie now.... Just had some tofu. Went down well! I take in about 400-500 calories a day. Make sure you get protein before anything!!! We should exchange email addresses. Id like to keep in touch! :-)

    Gas pains

How is everything going? Make sure you keep lotion (no fragrances) on your tummy to help heal and preventing too much scarring. Swelling will go down too.. Along with your tummy! It's such a great feeling. My stomach fat was the first noticeable difference.

    tuna, chicken, pork.... meats!

I'm supposed to be on soft foods still... But it's getting boring!!! I'm trying to mash proteins and eat them but it's super annoying when they don't go down. I'll have to stick to my protein shakes , scallops and shrimp!
  10. Im a month post op for the sleeve on 7/2/14. Im still having trouble with blended proteins ( mostly meats) - when i take small bites of things and chew for a long time... the food goes down fine, but then in 5-10 min it feels like i need to burp and the food is stuck. Am i eating too fast? I'm not swallowing a lot... maybe taking too many bites, too quickly?

    Gas pains

Walk walk walk. You have to walk around to move the gas through your body... And drink lots of water. Gas went away in 4 days for me. Best of luck!
