Hope your experiences are as smooth as mine!

I Hi there. I am one week post op with Dr Garcia. I must say my experience was nothing but pleasant. I'm feeling great and am surprised how good I felt a few hours after.the surgery I was up and walking within hours. The staff at the hospital is very attentive and helpful. I was extremely nervous and felt at ease after I saw how clean and professional Florence hospital is. I was with two other ladies that were using Dr Garcia as well and from what I saw they were recovering just as well. One the ladies I had with me brought her husband who is a nurse and he commented oh how the attentive the nurses were checking on you every two hours. We all left with a package outlining exactly what our post op journey should look like for the next 6 months. I would highly recommend Dr Garcia. I also appreciated that he does a very limited number of surgeries in one day giving you exactly the type of attention you need. Hope this helps!

Hi there- I'm from BC and heard about this story as well. I'm scheduled with Dr. Garcia in a few days and started to do some research and I can say with almost certainty that it is not Dr. Garcia. I googled TJ Bariatric center and the first thing that pops up is Dr Garcia's website. I've watched the news story on our local station and saw the phone number that was on the receipt. After a quick google search I came across the exact website for TJ Bariatric Center and the first doctor listed is Dr. Mario Almanza. He is also the bariatric surgeon that is listed on the same website the women booked from.
