I'm finally a week out being banded. I got to steer new things and get off my Clear liquids. I fill so full and love my yogurt.
I have lost 26lb in 7 days and feeling restrictive. I hope I can chew my food just as good as I can swallow my liquid.
I am afraid of loosing the weight to fast as I haven't even had a fill. I'm only one week out. Is this normal for someone being banded?

I'm doing great. It's one week post op and I feel great. I'm down 26 lbs now. I guess I am on the right track. Just been taking the creamy Soups at 1/2 cup and 30 min time feeling great.

Hi I'm kayleena I've been banded for 7 days now and doing great. I was banded June 28th
Good luck and the first week sucks and I am super happy I got some real Fluid down me such as creamy Soup and yogurt this week.
I have lost 26 lbs in 7 days.
Eating Jello drinking warm tea, chicken broth I used low sodium and then added herbs and strained them out. And I have flavor to my broth. I had propel Water and Vitamin Water and watered down Apple juice. I have been walking around a bunch and feel restricted. I can only hold a 1/2 cup of Soup or 1/2 yogurt.

Hi I'm banded for two days now. No pain and doing great. I'm back home in the USA in Washington and feeling fine. The trip to Mexico was great, I was well taken care of and. I problems. The nurses were excellent and I am going to miss my massages after surgery. I am down 20 lbs so far and fill full and tired. Take care and keep in touch

Congrats I'm on day 5 of liquids and doing great down 28 lbs since surgery and feeling super restrictive. Maybe it's the weather. I have no pain just sore and drink liquid Tylenol from Walmart is great. When I feel it. I love my baby wipes too.

You will be just fine and in great hands. I was only. 36 hours post op before I got to come home due to my busy life. I am doing great only 5 days post op. I am drinking just fine and not a lot if pain. Make sure you walk off the gas pains and sip sip slowly. I wish you the best luck on your new journey as mine is just beginning.
I had dr corvola and his amazing staff. Give my best wishes in room 304 and to all nurses and massage therapist.
My two fav nurses were a lady who wore glasses that were whitish color and the other she wore bright colorful lipstick.

Hi there I was banded June 28th I'm now four days post op. I feel great. I wanted to drop in and wish you the best luck on your new joinery as I am beginning mine.
I am drinking lots of Jello tea coffee juice watered down no sugar and eating Popsicles that are no sugar added as well. Lots of chicken broth adding different glaciers so I don't get sick.
There third and fourth day is the hardest I think as I am super tired yesterday and today I feel well rested and itchy from the healing process of the body.

I was banded June 28th and I'm home in the USA now. So happy to be back. I have lived with my roommate who's had lap band for 5 years and been successful with no problems. My best friend has had the surgery in Mexico by dr. Corvola and she's been post op 5 years and still no problems. I am having surgery done June 28th. I am excited and nervous at the same time. keep in touch and I hope this all works out for you.
