Adjustment....
On Wednesday, I got a .5cc put in...restriction is the best I've ever had. Only 2-3 bites and I'm full. I've had to really adjust my meals to get my proteins. I'm not getting in all my water for the day either so I will have to start drinking more water during the day. I think the weight will be really coming off now.

Weight finally coming off...
after 6 mths of no exercise and no weight loss. In January I took back my life so to speak. I signed up on Sparkpeople and started exercising every day. You know that 21 day habit everyone tells you about. It works, but you have to exercise every day for those 21 days. For the last 2 1/2 mths, I've been exercising every day. I wear my pedometer faithfully to log my steps and log my food every day. At the moment, my band only has 1cc in a 4cc band. I've have a Dr's appt on Wednesday. I'm not sure at the moment if I want any more restriction, but there are days when I feel like I'm still eating too much even though I'm within my calorie range. I've set mini goals for myself. I missed this one by 9lbs but I'm okay it with because I've lost 16lbs since January. My next mini goal is to lose 15lbs by May. I can do it. I'm motivated and after so many years of leading a sedentary life, I am now obessed with exercising. It's a wonderful feeling to have so much energy every day.

Calorie Counting...
No, thankfully, it doesn't happen often. I decided not to count the calories.

Calorie Counting...
I've had a bad night. I cooked a great dinner and none of it stayed down. I think the pork I cooked had too much fat in it. Anyway, I log my calories daily. Here's my stupid question, since none of what I ate stayed down, do I still log that food and if so how much of it? :w00t:

I'm 14mths and have lost the weight loss momentum. I know what my problem is, but can't seem to get off the destructive pattern. I'm eating alot a food and drinking while I eat and not exercising. I'm thinking of having the band removed and having gastric bypass.

Losing Upper Stomach Fat
Thanks so much for the replies...it's given me some ideas...the one thing I need to add is weight training...since I can't afford a gym what's the best way to do it at home that won't cost me anything?

Losing Upper Stomach Fat
Question...how do you lose upper body fat? I've lost 50lbs, but the bulk of the weight came off the bottom and only about 2in around my bust and none of in my breasts and I think they are there to stay. LOL! .I lost 3 sizes in my waist, but only 1 size on top. I can't seem to lose the upper half of my stomach. It's frustrating...it makes look like I'm pregnant and when you're large the last thing you want is to be asked is when are you due? Should I be eating different foods ...what sort of exercising should I be doing? I've done the ab crunches, but it's not something I like to do because they don't seem effective. I imagine if I do them every day, it may work, but I'm hoping to find something to help melt the body fat so that I can "see" the crunches start to work. Does that sound stupid? Up for any ideas to help lose the fat. It worries me because it's the fat closest to the heart and to be heart healthy this fat needs to be gone.

Help, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong!
Help! I don't understand what I'm doing wrong... I had lost 50lbs originally after my band...I'm 5mths in and starting to gain...I've haven't lost anything for the last 2 mths... my fault because I wasn't exercising...well this month I've been exercising and eating right...doing everything right...the first two weeks, I didn't lose anything...this last week and half I've gained back 4.5lbs. What am I doing wrong? I'm getting discouraged. I do an hour of walking and some type of aerobic exercise every day. Do I need to do more? Sometimes I don't eat enough calories...is this hindering instead of helping...should I force myself to get in all my calories for the day? Any advice will help...I see my doc and nutritionist next Tuesday, should I get another fill? I've had good restriction these last two months so I don't know if getting another fill would help.

I've been meaning to make a meeting, but I haven't made one yet. I had my surgery done by Dr. Richardson at Oschner. My insurance paid for it all. I got a .5cc fill today...I'm hoping that helps to kick in my weight loss again. I'll be on liquids for a week so I'm sure I'll lose some weight and I've started exercising every day.

Am I stretching my pouch?
That's a good question...I only have a .5cc in my band, this was my first fill in November...I lost 7lbs in December, but haven't lost anything since. I feel that I'm still eating too much food. I, too am wondering if I've stretched my pouch. Would I feel it?

Christmas was bad for me too! Getting back on track though...had to throw away candy and cookies given to me for Christmas because I don't have the willpower to stay away from it. Chocolate...can you imagine having to throw away all that Chocolate...but I did it. Have to get back to exercising too! Will start tonight! Had a few bad moments with the band too...not chewing enough times so my portions are still too big...hurts like heck! Learning the hard way...friends and family are supportive...reminding me to eat slow and chew chew chew. I've only been banded since Sept. 19...lost 45lbs so far...did gain 3lbs since Dec. 18th which was my last visit with Dr. but not worried...have already lost 2lbs of it this week. Have a goal 10lb goal for Jan. 22nd...know I can do it with eating right and exercising!!!

New weight
Well...despite myself...I've lost 14lbs since my last official weigh in at Doc's office on 11/1/07, but only 3.6lbs since the fill on 11/15/07...since I'm losing he won't do another fill ...kinda glad didn't want to be on liquids for Christmas. Haven't kept to my diet or exercise program so it's a wonder that I lost. I've even been cheating and not taking my vitamins...so I really need to get with the program. Tomorrow is a new day...I WILL log my food, eat healthy and exercise. I have a personal goal of 10lbs to lose by my next weigh in and I know I can do it. I'm feeling better than ever and have went down 3 sizes in clothes. It's great! I will be only to happy to see the size 26/28 jeans and 30/32 shirts get out of my closet. Do you suppose I will have my room in my closet if my clothes are smaller? HA-ha-ha!

Trouble getting back on track
My next appt is 12/18, but I don't know if he will do a fill or if it is just a fill...I'm hoping a fill, but the last time we had to do flouro so I don't know if he will try again without...which means that would be another appt
