  1. Hellos Ladies, Glad to have found this post. I am almost 10 months out from surgery and 8 wks pregnant. Hope all goes well for everyone.
  2. Curious, are the bars soft enough to be eaten on soft foods stage or should I wait to buy when I am on regular foods?
  3. Going in tomorrow 5:30 AM!!!
  4. 3 more days until the big day! Nervous, nervous, Nervous.
  5. Anyone using anything for scars or skin firmness during your journey? Heard good reviews on bio oil and palmer's firming butter. Has anyone tried either or came across any other good products or adapted any good regimens? Not ready to use anything yet, just curious as to what may work for the near future.
  6. Very inspiring, your story is truly a blessing
  7. Just had to share, two things that are saving my sanity during this ten day pre op diet....lol herb ox (8 count box) - sodium free broth packets - Just add 1 cup hot water and one packet broth with a very small pinch of salt, also Milksplash squeezable syrup they come in - orange cream, strawberry, banana, Cookies and cream - sugar free to add to my Protein powder. Both at wal-mart.
  8. Is anyone allowed to mix protein shakes on pre options diet with unsweetened almond or skim milk? Bariactric advantage taste horrible with just water.
  9. I had to do a 6 month program as well started 06/04/2014. Last class was 11/20/2014. Toke about a month to be approved and scheduled - scheduled for 01/29/2015. 6 month sounds like a long time but it is the best thing for anyone considering surgery in my opionon, you need about that long to make a lifelong desicion like this.
  10. Sorry, didn't notice you mentioned being allergic to tylenol as well.
  11. Walgreens has Adult Extra Strength Acetaminophen in Cherry flavored liquid (store brand). Getting sleeved on 1/29/2015, recently grabbed a bottle for when I come home. Hope this helps.
  12. Thank you so much ladies for your insight and words of encouragement, just what I needed.
  13. Thanks for the encouragement. NUT said relations with food and ppl would change during this process, but I never thought it would be her. She was all for me when I started this 6 months, now that my date set, she is really changing. Making comments like "your gonna be too skinny', "guys like girls with meat on their bones", etc. I think it's time for me to distance myself asap.
  14. Let me start by saying not many ppl know about my upcoming surgery, only family and close friends. Today someone I considered to be a close friend said to me "I hope you don't die on the table", during a brief conversation we had relating to my surgery. I was shocked, upset and just plan blown away. I am thinking that was crazy for her to say. Am I just being overly sensitive or was that extremely inconsiderate of my feelings?
  15. My liquid diet is 10 days long. Protein powder mixed with Water only, low starch veggies (2 cups per day) and SF Clear liquids. Just a small huddle to jump to obtain a healthy, smaller, super new body forever
  16. @@GingerDiane At times I do fear things with surgery will not be successful. When I feel this way I start looking at some of the before/ afters pics on this site, they are very inspirational. All we can do is follows Dr.'s orders and wish for the best.
  17. Mine is 01/29/2015! There is also a January Sleevers Forum on here too.
  18. I am scheduled for 01/29/2015 too, so excited and nervous at the same time.
  19. Happy I came across this thread, my surgery is January 29, 2015!
