  3. Watch the sugar in the drink mixes too.
  4. Thanks Stevehud. I'll still follow my dr's recommendarions and be on the safe side. I guess whatever works is best. Not a one size fits all. I'm more concerned with health than weight anyway.
  5. Be careful. Your body can only absorb 20g per hour. If you drink one shake fast you'll either have pain, throw up, or not get all your protein for the day. I think 3 small 20g shakes are easier than 1 big one for three or 4 hours straight!
  6. For the first few weeks you need the protein to heal. I never get enough but just get as much as i can. The syntax nectars are easier for me to get down.
  7. We all wish it were that easy, but your body can only absorb 20g per hour, and there's no way you can drink all that quickly anyway. I'm 4 weeks out and it still takes me 2 hours to drink 1 drink whichever protein i use. So id say better to space out a few smaller ones. Good luck!

  9. I'm in 4th week and have this problem. Nothing tastes like it should. Just a few thinks taste good. Not sure how long this will last but heard it IS temporary. I sure hope so!

  11. I'm 4 weeks tomorrow and down 23 lbs. Did not have 3 week stall but I'm sure it'll catch up with me. Lol.
  12. Ask your NUT. Mine said whey protein is processed better for post op . But I compared whey and soy proteins.
  13. I'm 4 weeks out and still have pain on left side. Saw Dr this week and he said it's normal, muscles and incisions still healing.
  14. First few weeks are more about healing than weight loss. It will happen.
  15. I am 4 weeks out. Crazy bed pizza too first thing I ate on pureed was a low fat mazzerella and Marinara sauce 1 egg omelet. It helped curb those cravings even though I could only eat half of it.
