    HOW DO UPDATE MY TICKERS

      Click on the little cog next to your name in the top right hand corner. Click on "My surgery". Change your weight in that field and it will automatically update your tickers.

    Well I did it :) I have lost exactly 100 lbs. in not even 8 months. 20 more to goal. I am thrilled beyond words. I love my lapband. Happy Holidays everyone :)

    I am 9 weeks out and feeling like I am getting the hang of this now...I do still often eat too fast and I am whiplashed back a step or two! But I am working on that!

      Honestly every day is a work in progress. I still have to tell myself to slow down and I'm 6 and a half months out. If I eat too fast I get nauseated!

    LOVE how i've lost 40lbs but some how I've only went down 1 jean size! :(

      It's plus sized clothes. I dropped a ton of weight before I went down a size (I was a 26/28 in pants). In Misses sizes you drop sizes faster. It's not you. :)

    Everyone has a different post op diet. Why is that?

      What Blerdgirl said. Everyone in my program follows the same program pre and post op, but people who went to my hospital have a completely different program than the people at the hospital two miles away. I had no liquid pre-op diet at all. And was on purees as soon as I got home from the hospital. Each program is developed by the surgeons and clinicians who are working in it. And they tweak it for what best works for them.

    So I woke up today no longer obese! My BMI is under 30 :-) This was a huge goal for me and I am so happy! I love my sleeve!

      That seems so bizarre! Sizes are bizarre. My measurements match nothing on size charts for the size I wear.

    Another inch lost around my waist. Now it is 6 since surgery.

      Yay you! I feel like losing inches is more satisfying than losing lbs. My waist is so puffy, so when I see the tape measure get smaller, it makes me happy, even if the scale is stuck!
